My health is perfect thus far in case you actually cared, and I work with many doctors who care for and respect me, and none of them have stopped me and told me to take my fat ass to the emergency room pronto, LMAO. Humans are sick often and for many different reasons, and I don't disagree that we all ought to be our best selves; but if one is content in his/her skin, I would be the last person to attempt to cut him/her down because he/she isn't perfect physically. The only input I have in my boy's life (when I have one) is how he dresses/carries himself; unless he asks for specific information/support on weight matters, I don't make him feel less important for being too big or too small. I will tell you that in my experience, more people have heart attacks from having a genetic predisposition than from being overweight. So, if you are obsessed with decreasing your chances of it, relax more, and find out your own/your partners health history in that regard. I myself tend to go with the "none of us is going to get out alive anyway" so I plan to enjoy the ride, but you do what's best for you. As for having energy to last doing what I want, I could have a boy or two post, but that would be silly. Have a good day, M

Well I think there is the same amount in BDSM then there is any place else. More then 65% of the femal population is "OverWeight" so lots of thick hoties.....Men are even a larger (forgive the pun" part at around 70 % America is FAT,,,,, so join us or get out !

M It could have been a simple question, if nothing were read into it....[:D] 'More than their fair share' is a figure of speech with a well understood meaning, and doesn't need a numeric definition. It just means 'a lot of'. And, sixstrokes' OP question didn't say that BDSM had more than normal, he asked why the appearance was such....and appearance and reality are often different. One answer could have been that the clothing and nudity typical of BDSM tends to expose body shapes that can be concealed under more flattering street clothes. Another answer could have been that BDSM fantasies are peopled by fantasy women, and playing in real life is bound to have a different appearance. Other answers could have addressed some possible link between female players and actual bodyweight. It isn't sixstrokes' fault that so many people looked at his post and saw 'There are too many fat chicks here', even though he said nothing of the kind. take care

That seems like an awfully HIGH statistic (70% of people in the scene are overweight) to me. Do you know this for sure? I would like to know where you got that information from. Americans in general are overweight and getting more and more that way every day. I would like to know which SCIENTIST or STATISTICIAN has done a core sampling of all the BDSM clubs/groups across the country....hmmmm...what about those that only play in the private sector...how do we count them?....and come up with said statistic? Does anyone have a clue? Please forward the info. to me, if so. I also can't believe that 28 pages were wasted on this crap. Of course, here I am contributing to it! Weight is always an issue and a "hot topic" no matter what forum on what site. It always will be. It tends to lead to quite a "spirited" discussion such as I have noticed here. I do think that is is quite biased to pick out one particular sampling of the population (overweight women) to single out...ie. what about bald men, etc.? I am an overweight woman myself. My weight has absolutely nothing to do with my involvement in the lifestyle. I lead a completely "normal and productive" lifestyle outside of it as well. That does include sexual activity! Scary, I know! LOL One reason I love most of the people in the lifestyle is because there is such a wide variety of people...all colors, shapes, sizes and types...and there seems to be an "acceptance" that is not readily found elsewhere in society. You can be your "true" self and not be judged for it...well, except on some Collarme forums at times...wink Now, just as this topic is tired and gone into "overkill"...I will go and beat a dead horse...LOL Be well, M.
