You know you could always come and spend summer in the antipodes and then go back to the US in time for the US Summer - that way youd never hit winter - well actually that doesnt always work - the seasons are so changeable that in fact I think another few years and they might all merge into one.
Bring your sunscreen if your coming though - it might not get as hot as Florida here but the sun sure burns a whole lot quicker and harder :-))
Its about 23C here (which equates to 73F) and thats pretty normal for summer ...........
