jlf1961 -> Strange things I have seen on profiles... (6/25/2013 9:32:17 AM)

I have come across some things on profiles that just dont make sense. Here is a list of them.

1) No pic no reply. Alright this is not a strange statement except that I often see this on profiles where the primary pic is of everything but the face, or no pic at all.

2) Must be Height and Weight proportionate... Profile pic shows a person that is short and well past pleasantly plump, and the weight listed on their profile is 50 or more pounds overweight.

3) Sending a picture of your cock will get you blocked. Okay, if that is the case, why do you have a picture of your or someones pussy as your primary profile pic?

4) I do not want someone that is old enough to be my father, must be under fifty- the woman's stated age is 35. That means that her father was 15 when she was born.

5) Must be financially secure, with nice home and car. Woman's profile pic shows a woman standing in a room with 1950's era furniture, light fixtures, cracking plaster and the ceiling has water stains.

6) Must be well groomed and dress well fine, but the woman in profile pic looks like her hair has not seen a brush in a week, wearing jeans with holes, or homemade daisy dukes and an ICP t-shirt with the neck cut out, sleeves cut off and clearly is well worn.

7) Age and race not important. followed two paragraphs later with the statement, "Looking for a man of _____ descent and under 35."

8) Prefer older, more mature men First sentence in profile is -No one over the age of 30 please.

Now maybe I am nit picking, but some of these statements make no sense when you consider the woman making them.

People will be people and will always be confusing. Sometimes the lot of them have a hard time understand themselves, so answering for them might be a challenge. But good luck for anyone who'd want to try!!

Nobody ever said the fakes and flakes are too terribly bright

myotherself -> RE: Strange things I have seen on profiles... (6/25/2013 10:18:36 AM)

I've just perused the profile of an 18 year old male dom who looked at my profile. Nothing in the 'about me' box, but lots of loves and likes.

The bit that made me snort coffee was the bit where he put "curious about...newspapers!"

Fuckin perv [8D]

Well let us look at the "evidence" here.

He was born in 1995, so he has no first hand knowledge of a time before the internet. He may have grown up with computers in the house, and probably was using those computers and the internet from an early age. I know many people who cancelled newspaper subscriptions as soon as instantly updating news became available online.

If he has used any of the standard server home pages, he no doubt noticed the news feeds on those pages. He may have noticed newspapers in the machines along streets but never bought one.

Therefore, he may not know how to use a newspaper.

I just thought he wanted to take the newspaper, roll it up and beat her ass with it.

I am trying to figure out how an 18 yr old could have experienced all of the stuff they seem to live for, love and like, at least the sub women on the site.

Yeah but you can't do the crossword on the train, online.

Me too. What else would someone use a newspaper for?

Well, I suppose you could teach her to fetch...

Potty training

Yep. And line her cage, too.

ShaharThorne -> RE: Strange things I have seen on profiles... (6/25/2013 3:37:28 PM)

Bo still reads the paper daily. Lizard gets her news online. Mom gets the paper and I watch the news online and on TV.

Now if we can get the dogs to potty on the day old paper, the bathroom and dining room would be clean.

jlf1961 -> RE: Strange things I have seen on profiles... (6/25/2013 3:41:03 PM)

Now getting back to some of the weird statements on profiles.....

quote:

I want a tpe 24/7 slave lifestyle.

I have ___ children and do not want them exposed to the lifestyle.

DesFIP -> RE: Strange things I have seen on profiles... (6/25/2013 6:37:55 PM)

Now that I'm going to disagree with Jeff. The Man has final say about everything, but that doesn't mean I'm naked at his feet while the family's eating dinner.

Nor does it mean he's going to spank me while the kids watch. He wouldn't dream of doing that anymore than I would. Or did your parents have sex in front of you?

They have no problem with him announcing that brussel sprouts are forbidden in the house anymore. Nor in him saying don't take the car to the shop, he'll check the brakes this weekend. TPE is about a lot more than sexy time. It's about everything, all the minutiae of life. Including him just now booting me out of the tv room because he's watching a movie about a serial killer and I can't handle that type of thing.

I am not saying anything like that, but it just seems a little contradictory. But then I dont want a sub or slave in a TPE situation. I have friends not in the lifestyle that come over, often without notice, which is no big deal. I dont see how that you can have a 24/7 arrangement in that kind of environment, or with kids around. Never tried, never wanted it, so.....

You can have a 24/7 tpe relationship if you have children.
You can have You can have a 24/7 tpe relationship if you have nilla friends over.

To ME being in a 24/7 tpe isn't about what you do or don't do as much as it is a state of mind. Those dynamics are there regardless of what you are doing.

That being said are MANY subtle things that someone can do to show they are sub servant to another person and those that aren't in the know won't think anything of it.

littlewonder -> RE: Strange things I have seen on profiles... (6/25/2013 8:25:20 PM)

heh. My daughter was born in 91. I don't think she's ever read a newspaper a day in her life lol. She's had a computer and internet since the day she was born.

MissAsylum -> RE: Strange things I have seen on profiles... (6/25/2013 8:31:01 PM)

oh wait. I think she read a newspaper once when she was forced to in school when they were learning about media. I think that was the first and last time I ever saw her read one.

DarkSteven -> RE: Strange things I have seen on profiles... (6/25/2013 9:18:10 PM)

I always liked the profiles that vehemently warned against certain groups (men, Dommes, etc.) reading their profile. As though we could unread the profile.
