When you read his (zimmerman's) version of the events that night, you understand he had enough time to call the police, to ask if he should follow (he was told not to by the dispatcher) and he continued to follow Martin. In other words, he was clearly not heeding the instructions of law enforcement, and the situation was not so severe that he could make 2 calls to police one immediately before shooting the victim. I hate to say this but now you are just MAKING STUFF UP! I actualy read the transcript of the 911 call, zim DID NOT ask wether he should follow him, the 911 operater DID NOT instruct him NOT to follw him she said he didn't NEED TO, at NO POINT did she tell him he SHOULD NOT or that they would prefer he NOT follow tray he DID not make 2 seperate calls, the one and only call was from him while he was still in his car, I THINK! the only other calls in question were the ones tray was having with his friend, and a neigborhood person made to 911 after the fact of there was a second call from Zim I'd love to see the transcript of that call! I am going by the initial reports. However, here is his own words, from the report he gave to police: quote:
George Zimmerman heard the message loud and clear: Don’t follow Trayvon Martin. In a statement he gave to police the same night he shot and killed the unarmed teen, Zimmerman wrote that he was returning to his vehicle after a police dispatcher told him over the phone to stop pursuing Martin. “The dispatcher told me not to follow the suspect and that an officer was in route,” Zimmerman wrote in the statement, which was released to the public for the first time on Thursday morning. “As I headed back to my vehicle, the suspect emerged from the darkness and said ‘you got a problem?’” Source So, you are saying that Zimmerman lied when he said he was told not to follow the suspect? and you got that from where? a newpaper article? a police report? I have tried to keep up with this from the beginning, and I NEVER saw that, maybe you could give us a link to the source of that? You see the word SOURCE on my post, it is a funny shade of green or gold or whatever? put your curser over that and click. I know that recognizing an HTML link is typically hard for some people, and evidently you are one of those people. So, you want to try again?
