I would think that the admins can just match ip addresses.but who knows.I really thought this was going to be a thread about sifl and olly. Disappointed.

We have ways to check if an account is a sock.

If I am correct, it is against the Collarchat TOS to use more than one account per thread. Also, the IP address's are how someone can know if that account is being used for "sock puppets".

It's not that easy. Most internet services change ip addresses each time you log on and you can also use services that disguise your ip to make it seem as though you are logging in from somewhere else.

The closest that you get to this is section 12.4 of ToS that says, if the site boots a person out, part of the agreement is that a person won't create another account to circumvent the site's decision. No where does it say that a person can't have multiple accounts, or even that they can't post from multiple accounts. There's also section 7.3.15 that says a person may not intentionally impersonate another person or entity, and that you must represent your gender accurately. In other words, to use Myself as an example, I could absolutely have My Lady Pact profile and create a couple's profile, post from both, and still be within ToS as long as I was not under any form of moderation.
