Status: offline 		Id like to take a poll here on Collarme of its members and what size they present to the forum. We will distinguish size as follows:
small = under 100 lbs
medium = 101 to 160 lbs
large = 161 to 260 lbs
Bigger = over 261 lbs
If size is whats important to you then state your size. If role and size is important to you then choose the sentance that best fits you.

Status: offline 		I fit in on the lower end of the 'medium' category, but my husband Pup would qualify as 'bigger'.  So while I may prefer fit, obviously I'm not hung up on it.

Status: offline 		you have quite a large catagory there from 160-260.  that can be anywhere from thin to seriously obease depending on your height and body type.  i'm 5'9" 170 and am in the large catagory.

Status: offline 		Whhhheeeeeee! I havent qualified as a MEDIUM in forever!

I have dated people of just about every size and shape I can think of...yet I found them all (ok except one but I was going through a weird time) extremely attractive. Physical attraction, for me, has so much more to do with the intangibles than it does body shape or size.

I dated one guy (vanilla, about 20 pounds overweight) who lost a bunch of weight when he started smoking. Im sure to everyone else he looked tons better but, please, PU! I'll take the extra pounds any day!

As for myself, sure I curse gravity and the HOT DONUTS NOW sign every so often, but all in all Im a happy girl.

I have a few theories on what type of person it is that holds the physical appearance of their submissive among the most important factors in selecting...but I dont really care to explore those theories in too much depth because I have the love and affection of a partner who thinks Im da proverbial bomb just the way I am. (...and I wonder if there is much depth there to even explore.)
That's the reason my profile says I weigh 900+ pounds... whether 108 or 180, Ive never been particularly interested in getting to know people who filter people out based on their body size.

Yep.. i'm not a barbie doll... and not looking for Ken...

I want to feel the inside of the one dominating me... as I would hope he would want to feel my submission as it comes from within me. Out side is only the shell of  who we really are.

Status: offline 		I think categories like these are silly unless I am looking for a bathrobe. Large for what?, small in relation to whom? Im large according to your list, but I am large in many ways...lol. I am very tall, taller than the average man. I work out, I have large muscles. I am not obese.

My dom wasn't looking for someone to weigh, he was looking for the whole package.. which includes my brain size.. which is also large. I was not looking for a man a certain weight either. We both are large people. We are healthy too! We hike, swim, dance, walk, screw each other silly...lol. We are HEALTHY! He has these beautiful legs and awesome ass, and great shoulders. He tells me he loves my body and how sexy it is to him. I was looking for someone who is as fit as me, and I found him! I do not care about scales.... he weighs more than I do, but I do not know how much that is...lol. It doesnt matter to me.

Um, I did not take it as an attack on your "poll" for him to post information that could perhaps be more useful to people in gauging their size than your poll is. Nothing wrong with information is there? Perhaps this thread belonged in the poll section if we are not supposed to "discuss" it? It is the "general discussion" forum isn't it?... Perhaps I am lost?

I fit in the lower end of the “large” category and my BMI index is 24. I see myself as fit and I expect my partner to be fit as well.

Status: offline 		Such a judgemental poll in my opinion. I remember a Doctor arguing with me about weight, he said I needed to weigh 135 as per the chart. I was 155 and a size  6/7 as I am genetically muscular any thinner and I would be anerexic. I do not follow the weight requirements as they are inadequet. People tend to carry their weight differently.

Status: offline 		good god if I was 160 I'd be 30 pounds under-weight, and still large. Currently I'm well in the 200 range and still large. Yeah, the chart doesn't work as it really needs to have a male , female, and then height in there at minimum.

For many years i was very selfconcious about my size thanks to the comments and advice of doctors. i've been told by more doctors than i can count that for the sake of my health i should gain about 20 pounds according to that chart. i do not follow the weight requirements as suggested by those charts. i've always been extremely healthy and strong for as tiny as i am. i've always been underweight according to those charts. i tried for years to gain weight and my body has decided that it has it's own idea of what requirements are best for me. i now listen to my body rather than doctors and their 'one size fits all' theories.
i can relate.
 
P.S. i'm certain you meant well with the comment, and anorexia is a disease, not a size.

Status: offline 		i've always been....no...wait, i've always seen myself as overweight.  i went to the doctor last march to get  staples removed from a car accident i was involved in and the scale said 160 pounds! i'm only 5 feet tall...i've had 5 kids...and with what people say, the way they look at me, i feel like i'm overweight.  No matter what people say, i think in society in general, size DOES matter...why would BDSM be any different??  Personally i believe that whats on the inside matters most. (yeah i've heard the comment to come...."only fat people say that") even when i weighed 105 (which was 2 years ago and i had a HUGE eating disorder) i still believed that its whats on the inside that counts.

Status: offline 		Is it National Check Your Weight  Day?  i come to the boards today and there are several new threads discussing over/under weight subs/slaves/ Masters/Mistresses.   i would be classified as large.  But then i'm also a slave who doesn't care about size. Especially other people's size.  my Master loves me just the way i am.  i don't have an health issues and my size doesn't get in the way of my doing those things that He requires or that i enjoy.

Status: offline 		Well, in My case, I am a Petite Goddess and seriously into spanking and heavy corporal.  So, OTK is out of the question with most larger people and My main concern about overweight individuals is their health. 
 
Beauty comes in all sizes, shapes and colors and I enjoy anyone who presents her/himself with self-respect and who beautifies their surroundings.
 
I just met a rather large Domme who is absolutely gorgeous and not concerned with Her weight because She knows how to present Herself so that She loves and likes Herself.  I know of a few subs (collared) who are large persons who have the same self-respect and consideration for the Scene.  So, size only matters to Me when it is about health.
