I'd tell myself that life isn't going to be anything like I expected it to be. To never, ever rely on other people for my happiness and financial stability. To work my ass off, keep exercising and stay away from the internet because it will waste all of my time (yes, yes, irony, I know). Also, to be pickier about the men I date and don't fuck around, because none of it was worth it and I'd have been far better off being single and focusing on me, than giving up numerous opportunities to live an amazing, adventurous life because "I love him and want to be with him so I'll just stay here and work this crappy job because he'll take care of me". Also, that my mother was right about way more than I ever wanted to admit as a 19 year old.
