I honestly believed that my dog went to a "farm" where she would have more room to run..and spend a lot of time outside with other dogs... In my defense.. my father really did have a friend with a farm. I believed it for years... when I found out.. I was shocked at how gullible I really am.

One night.. when I was 5.. maybe 6.. I carefully swung my feet over the edge of my bed because I heard something.. and wanted to go to my sisters room... Too bad she was already under my bed... waiting to pull my little feet and body under. I still worry about monsters. lol.

I believed marriage was forever.

I believed there was someone out there for everyone.

I believed if a "Dominant" wanted you to be his... he had your best interests at heart.

I believed people were good, and I took some risks I shouldn't have.

Because of all the recent news regarding the royal family, this one popped in my head.

When I was a child, I was told King Henry VIII was traced in our family, which fed my fairy tale dream of one day becoming a princess.
Then I grew up and realized about half the world could probably be traced back to him somehow. Another dream squashed
