In general, lactation is induced by administering estrogen to simulate the high-estrogen state of pregnancy. Then the estrogen is abruptly withdrawn, which more or less fools the body into thinking delivery has taken place. Metaclopromide or similar treatment is then instituted. Sucking stimulation, continued for a few weeks, will result in lactation, but in general it won't be as abundant as normal (in other words, don't expect it to feed a baby, it might not) The only part of the entire process that is possibly dangerous is the estrogen shock. Some women risk serious health effects, so consulting a doctor would be a good idea. The La Leche League helps women that adopt infants, but I imagine their materials can be informative to you as well. http://www.lalecheleague.org/
