how many here are interested in Pony Play? or actually into that?
just curious I have been doing it for over 30 years before they called it that, or knew what it was about.

Must be my quirky mood tonight.  Now I have that old cowboy song in my head, "I got spurs, that jingle jangle jingle...as I go ridin' merily along..."

Anyone else know it?

As for pony play, I can't say I've been fitted with a bit yet, but it would be interesting.

i love it just don't really have the chance to indulge beyond occasional dress-up  i wish there were one of those farms near to me where people get to do that sort of thing

i broke a glass horsehair-tailed plug once....never ever ever stand over tiling and use too much lube

Gosh the idea of pony play really gets me hot. I can think of so many decedent scenarios having to do with pony play. It does strike me as something not that many folks are "into" (plus, I've never done it - but I love reading about it, hehe). It might get kind of expensive, with all the gear one has to buy? Oh well - it is undoubtedly worth it. - Susan

Unless you happen to be with a leatherworker-then it's not that expensive.<-------------

That's right. And if they're not, then - well, better money on a harness or a cart or a crop than other elective things, right? - Susan

Being one who crafts in metal, leather, and wood-and who has for over 26 years now,you have literally NO idea of the things I can make. Time well spent, is time saved.

hello buck.. havent seen you in forever and a day.. but I will say that I have been breaking and riding  real horses for years... and now that I have a ltr sub, it was just natural to start doing some pony play as soon as I found out it interested him as well.  I have rode buck a few times and I would love to hook up with someone that has been doing for as long as you have for a session.
take care

Sounds money-saving and money-making and interesting, Caretaker.
Are you an enterprenuer or a hobbyist in that regard? It doesn't matter to me, I am just curious.

So do you have a list of folk who are interested in pony play and such, Cartakr? I don't want it (I'd never ask for anything like that) am just wondering if you know why people buy the stuff they buy from you (I was a Marketing Manangement/Research major in college, forgive me). It probably doesn't matter if you're making the money you want and need (moeny isn't everything, in fact to me it doesn't count for a whole lot). But am wondering from a curiosity standpoint (and I am way too nosy for my own good sometimes). - Susan

I used to make some on the side. I only do it or my own uses these days. It didn't pay well enough to be worth the time.

Oh well I am glad to know someone who makes these things. Thank you for telling me - I admire people who can work with their hands (that's not innuendo, it's the truth). - Susan

I think it has to do w/being treated totally like an animal; you can't talk or resist and your owner can just do what he/she will with you and you have no say. Plus, they train you to do what they want - sometimes for hours w/really painful (I suppose) croppings and the like. Mmmm.Yummy. - Susan

Someone told me it's a lot more popular overseas (like in the UK) than it is in the U.S. Don't know the reason. - Susan

The English are more complicated and formal in thier play.

Over here, structure and protocol seem to be going in the crapper at a rapid rate.

So I am glad it is being kept alive SOMEWHERE.

Well it sounds interesting to me. I'm sure it takes some committment and expense, but people spend money on floggers and the like anyway, so what the heck?
