I have now found not one but two lifelong friends that I out of deepest respect, humbly and willingly call Sir.

While I think it's fantastic that you've found 2 random internet fellas to offer your lifetime of humble
devotion to, this suspiciously reads more like a self serving advertisement in hopes that your True Master
finds you sooner rather than later.

My experience here has taught me that there are many people here who selfishly and willingly offer their
guidance and advice, but they are both male AND female, and are on both sides of the kneel.
I hope you stick around long enough to experience this as well.

It's really interesting that 99% of the time, when you've got a poster spouting shit like that and you look at their profile, they're a female submissive in their 40s.

Often they've spend 20 year in vanilla relationships, were disillusioned, and are now for the first time trying kink.

So yeah... I get the sub frenzy kicking in... but what the hell is going on with the bad poetry, weird capitalization, and attachment to preposterously unrealistic ideals of Dominants? 20 years of cheesy 'handsome man on the white stallion saving the damsel in distress' romance novels? Or something else?

Seriously, it only seems to happen to chicks in their 40s... what is it about that age group? Is there some bug that's going around that kicks in right before menopause does or something?

Ishtar, I had similar questions in my twenties about women in their forties and fifties that had been fine one moment and then all of a sudden some abuse of the past was something they couldn't get passed. I don't know what it is, but I have noticed the same thing in these posts. I don't know if they just decide to go woman limp, can't deal and look for a knight in shinning armor or what it is... but it sure doesn't do women on a whole any favors.

I see sub frenzy a bit differently than most. I see it as an excuse for poor behavior and a lack of personal accountability. Call it a flip out.. yeah.. I did stupid... I was crashing and burning looking for my fantasy or dream... but to give it a title that somehow excuses it or validates it... just doesn't seem right to me. The same women that use that often are the first to call bull shit when a guy comes in, in a frenzy.

They read too many romance novels, too many romantic movies, love poetry and recently 50 Shades of Grey. They have the fantasy in their head from all of that and now they're waiting for their white knight in shining armour.

Kinda slips right in to SimplyMichaels thread on embarassing things you used to believe. It takes a while living this stuff and doing it for the reality to hit. People are just people and just as flawed as any other regardless of kink.

Beautiful self,

Sounds like a heart welling over and pourling out sincere happiness, gratitude, and positive thoughts. It is always a great thing when someone gives good advice, guidance and knowledge without expecting a thing in return. These people do exist, and I am glad you feel on cloud 9. Yippee! woohoo!
I despise anyone to rain on my parade, and I don't want to rain on yours either! But just keep in mind (looking toward your safety not trying to be a negative nelly)
Its not fun to think about but some master manipulators use this very tactic to cunningly and smoothly get what they want and gain power, while you purr like a kitten. think they are beautiful and wonderful while the rug is slowly being pulled from under your feet. I just had to say it! had too!!!! Sorry.
I will add though, I do sincerely hope these men have the purest of intentions, as you wish. Good luck! Now stick that thought away for safe keeping and thought, and enjoy your journey, I hope it continues to be a wonderful one.

I've seen younger women do it as well. (Although when I started in WIITWD the internet was a new concept, so there weren't many people below 25)

I think part of it is that these women feel like they've been in a coma until they discover WIITWD. They're suddenly desired and getting that new relationship high that they thought they'd never get again.

While I think the women hold some of the responsibility for the lack of reality in their ideals, we also have to blame the men in puffy shirts that whisper it into their ears. Let's face it, there's an entire group of guys that feed that drivel to the newbies because they know it gets them laid.

Gonna try to speak the op's language,

Good day fair sweet flower of virtue that hath awakened unto the dawn of this new age of whatevereth it is that we doeth. Bloom, bloom full and fragrant, that the desirous scent of your submission might be caried upon the world wide winds toward your one true and chivalrous Sir who as yet, has not sniffed you out. Bloom, yes, but forget not your thorns and bare them well for the hounds might also catch your scent. Foul evil hounds that devour the goodness of your delicate blossoms and ravage them mightily.

Best wishes

You missed the opportunity to capitalize several random words mid-sentence, so it's easy to tell it's fake.
