also if you read the link they are clearly refering to a TRUE stalker, not a single random encounter

a TRUE stalker? do they carry name tags or something?

Sorry, you can't lead anyone anywhere if they can't see where you're going...from the time Zimmerman told 911 that Martin had run out of sight (when Martin turned right at the "T" and disappeared between the buildings) and the time Martin's 'girlfriend' said she heard a bump/thump while on the phone with Martin, Martin had been out of Zimmerman's sight for FOUR MINUTES -- more than enough time for Martin to have walked home, never mind run home, as soon as he was out of Zimmerman's sight.

If possible I would hide out behind a fence or bushes for a long time until I was sure the stalker was actually gone, then I would cautiously look around to make sure it was actually ok to go home..

You cant say that... you cant even prove that. You have no idea where Martin was... nor where Z was in relationship. Martin could have easily stepped out of where he was and been in the immediately eye sight of Z.

Lets not go down this road... there are way too many possible scenarios we both could give.

Despite the fact that he didn't live there and might not have had that solid a grasp on the way the neigbourhood was laid out?

Come to that: given the Zimm's swarthy hispanic complexion, and these roving gangs of evil negro gangbangers that apparently gave him a perfect right to follow a teenager he didn't know about then shoot him after he was asked what the fuck he thought he was doing, might this be another reason being followed about by the Zimm might have left the dead thug feeling a little paranoid?

not in my book it doesnt.. it has happened to me and it takes only one time for me to be alert and on the lookout for the stalker and to even drive around the block when I would go home to make sure the stalker has not found me/where I live..

Status: offline 		Don't go straight home. This will show the person where you live and is especially dangerous if you live alone. Try to go to a neighbor's house, a friend's house or another family member's house, where you know there will be other people to answer the door and take care of you.

hey nowww, I am just going by the link you provided, its pretty clear they are considering a stalker as someone who has followed and/or contacted you on MULITIPLE occasions

you make it sound like martian went threw this logical thought process, I am bing followed, stalked persued, what should I do what should I do, well I shouldn't lead him to my house, I KNOWWW I'll NOT call 911, and I'll turn around and confront the guy

hmmm turning around and confronting the guy realllly makes it sound like he was in FEAR of him...
not sure about everyone here, but I usually DO NOT confront things I am in fear of!
now if he was cornered, well OK thats differant!
but I am thinking a young slim, teen could have turned and out run a fat old guy at ANY point, even when within a couple of feet of him!

Trayvon Martin either waited out of sight at the "T" or doubled back to the "T" after going home.

The clear-cut evidence are the cell-phone records of Zimmerman's call to 911 and Martin's 'girlfriend's call to Martin, which indicate that from the time Zimmerman told 911 that he lost sight of Martin (when Martin turned right/South at the "T" and disappeared between the buildings) until the time Martin's 'girlfriend' said she heard a bump/thump just before the call ended, Martin had FOUR MINUTES to continue running/walking South less than 400 feet from the "T" to get home. Obviously he either didn't do that, or he did and then doubled-back.

Yes, he had time to get home, but he apparently chose to hide instead. According to Zimmerman's original statement to Singleton, he first saw Martin when he popped up out of the bushes. Singleton had him elaborate on that point. Zimmerman's statement is bolstered by Rachel Jeantel's statements and testimony when she said Martin started talking "real low" like someone whispering while in hiding, and also bolstered when she said Martin told her the man was getting close. So apparently he feared he would be found and decided to step out and ask why he was being followed. It's difficult to "run home" when you are hiding in the bushes from a stalker.

And talking about "time to do" something, Zimmerman had about 1 1/2 to 2 minutes from the time the NEN operator suggested he not follow Martin until the NEN call ended. Way more than enough time to walk back to his truck. Plus another 2 minutes or so, in which he could also have walked back to his truck before Martin's call was cut off. For those same four minutes that Martin "could have run home", Zimmerman stayed in the area, out in the rain, searching for Martin.
