Right. I was a fat kid. . . Weight Watchers at the age of eleven. Yippie skippie. I did not really lose weight until I was out of high school and in my first year of college. Some find ths amazing. I am not "heroine chic" nor am I overweight. Yet because of adverts and commercials, I still worry about my weight/looks. We are living in a society that says that thin is better. Well, great. I do not like my current weight, and I woud like to be thinner, but that also comes with the price of my periods stopping, my energy flagging, and moodiness. I am at a good body/weight yet society and pop culture says that I should be thinner. Yet I have had play parteners state, "Go eat something". And yes it make me feel like I am in a Kevin Kline film. So it is a struggle between what society says men want, and what men actually want. ( And you can replace the "men" with any gender or neutral)
