If you want to take up the issue of jurisdiction fine, as we DO KNOW unlike the sheeple it is NOT determined by lines on a map. However the fact still remains that the girl was not Muslim and therefore even with wishywashy jurisdiction she was in no way under Sharia or any other jurisdiction than that of the UK.

If judges keep this shit up over there they will have their own modern version of the KKK. Alot of peole there, and all across Europe are sick of immigrants committing crimes. Even Sweden, the rape rate QUINTUPLED and 80 % of the rapes are committed by Muslim inmmigrants. That's probably what another poster meant by (sarcastically) "multicultturalism is working for...........".

As to the young woman in question, She was in Dubai and was judged by the Dubai justice system. We may not agree with it, I don't, but you'd certainly raise hell if some foreign nation demanded we let their citizen out of prison if convicted of a crime here.

Not knowing the laws, and the second class treatment given to women, where in civilized countries you have a good chance of receiving justice, this girl had no idea she was about to be charged for some crazy laws they hold, that pretty much make it impossible to prove rape. Instead, she is criminal. Messed up system if you ask me, and that's what I mean by that remark. Know the rules. I wouldn't be caught dead there. Women don't stand at chance.

Ken. I dont agree with the Juge but he was lenient because the guy pleaded guilty (saving the girl the oredeal od giving evidence) and also didnt understand UK law.

That said, he wasnt let off scot free as he got a suspended sentence, he has also been put on the sex offenders register.

I'm not comfortable with the suspended sentence too, but what I understand is the judge considered him as mentally empired (probably for other reasons than being islamic) so even if 18 not to be considered the stronger part in the relationship, and considered him as minor as well.

What's wrong with staying the fuck home ? Norway is a wonderful place and I would actually like to go there. Even though it is technically a theocracy, from what I hear they are not too anal about it.

There are several instances of Muslims trying to use their "culture" to mitigate things like beatings and such. One recent incident involved one of their own who imbibed in alcohol. They beat his ass and their "culture" was used as a defense against the assault and battery charges.

If they locked up that Norwegian broad in Dubai, well then I guess people will have to familiarize themselves with the customs and laws of countries to which they emigrate, or even go for a visit.
