OK, I was getting a little confused there. What you have there is a flogger. It's elk with a decent length in the falls. You probably paid too much for it. However, that's not what most people would call a whip. Technically, anything with a handle that has leather attached to it is defined as a whip, BUT most people tend to use that term for anything with plaited leather attached to a flexible core for the handle and generally has a cracker on the end. A sixteen plait whip (number of braids) that's four feet in length absolutely can retail for $187.00. That price can be a little higher if you are buying from a vendor at a con because they have to increase their base price and add in a slight bump for paying for space in the vendor's room. I had a faint idea about the price, and it looked very well crafted. I found another one, cheaper, but with time maybe well get one there. About this difference of whips, I still have to learn to use and call each one. Not long ago I didn't knew the difference between a whip and a paddle. quote:
If you have a copy of "Screw the Roses (Send Me the Thorns)" there's a nice section in there about areas of the body to target and the areas that you want to avoid. You want to read that. Didn't know about the book, will look for it. This kind of information, right now, is what I am seeking. In my area I could not find any group, but will dig a little more, sure will find some perverts around. Maybe in some bigger cities, but I am living in a pretty small town, in a conservative region, in South America. Will try to read, search for groups, but I believe I have a lot to learn on the foruns. One doubt I still have is how to recognize I am not harming my subjects unnecessarily. I like the idea of trial and error, but I am a bit afraid of the possible consequences of the errors. quote:
I hope that helped you out a bit. Sure did. Appreciated.
