This woman stood her ground. Videotape evidence. No charges. Incident to go before a grand jury (like GZ should have).

Where's Fat Al and Shakin Jesse?

Get the .22 out of the car and shoot him

Leaving the scene looks bad, so does taking pictures.

Maybe the bolded part has something to do with the different reactions? Also you couldn't find something a little more reality based than Glenn Beck?

Playing devil's advocate ...

Maybe she wanted evidence of what he had in his hands when she shot him?

Leaving the scene doesn't look good but, I would chalk that up to her maybe being a tad upset at having just taken a human life.

As to the OP: Truckin' the outrage isn't there because the shooter wasn't white and therefore an obvious racist that Jesse Jerkoff and Fat Albert could villify.

Peace,

Louis Farakhan

Maybe since Al and Jessie won't turn this into a circus we will get to see the facts before people are indoctrinated into deciding guilt.

Glenn Beck is where I saw the facts.... as presented in the local paper, as I recall. Oh, yeah, and on video.

WTF does GB have to do with it?

one thing Z/TM has proven is that most people really dont need facts to prove anything. of course history proves that as well

Well, why should there be outrage? The fuckin thing is on tape, he clearly was the agressor. He tried to stab her. The camera caught it. It aint like it was done alone, in the dark, by a wannabe cop that killed a kid for his skittles and arizona iced tea.

Because Glenn Beck is a liar who cannot be trusted I had to go find the story on the Houston TV station website. Also the fact that you read the blaze makes me wonder about you.

That would depend on where the scene was and who else might be around.

Now, I'm really going to put a fly in the ointment.

I think that since she was obviously able to make it to her car (I couldn't see the video but the article says that her .22 was in the trunk), she should have just gotten in the car and locked the doors and driven away but she chose to stay in a place where she had every right to be.

She grabbed a weapon and became the aggressor. She wasn't defending herself and she isn't eligible to use SYG. String her up!

Yeah, you havent seen the video. He was threatening her with a knife and umbrella at the time, and she had an open hatchback where she got the rifle from. After he stabbed her, she raised the gun.

He felt threatened. She was holding a gun, just like Z. He felt like his life was in danger and he had to attack to prevent imminent death or bodily injury.

Yeah, but there is actual witnesses and proof to the contrary, he was clearly assaulting her as she stood there. Real live shit, not one left over telling the story his way.

Okay. I found the video and I am just going to say that all of this could have been avoided if she had just gotten into her car.

She's guilty. She's a racist. She's fat and out of shape and she probably tortures small animals.

I think it's a shame Angela Corey doesn't live in Texas. I wonder if she's passed the bar exam in Texas.

I may be on to something ...

Here's to "justice",

I feel there is more to that story. The calmness of her is alarming? What was happening before that?

Okay. I'm going to stop taking the piss, now.

There probably is more to the story. I wonder if they hadn't run into each other before? Possibly even had some kind of relationship but, seriously, none of that matters once the knife and umbrella come into play.

Her being calm could mean a lot of things but, like it or not, one of them is the knowledge that once she got that .22 out of the trunk, she had the security of superior fire power. She was fairly confident (I'm almost positive) that the guy wouldn't be dumb enough to ...

I have to ...

... bring a knife to a gunfight. I'm sure she thought the situation was over.

Taking the photos? Like I said: Just a smart move to protect yourself in court (lots of places have video cameras that are "just for show" and witnesses can disappear or clam up, if it turns out that the victim was a friend of a friend).

I don't think this lady did too much wrong but, even though I was kidding before, it's starting to gnaw at me ... could she have made it INTO the car?

Happy Trails,

Roy Rogers
