Status: offline 		Hi Paul, welcome to the forums.

Why are people attacking you? Possibly because they have a strong opinion about what you said, and want it to be heard. More likely they have nothing better to do, you are new and a prime candidate for venting a lot of pent up anger. It only takes one such post to have others jump in and turn an innocent apology into an ugly war that is very difficult to stop. The more you come back and defend yourself the more you will be attacked and remember, attacking a person without personally standing in front of them is a great outlet for many who use boards such as these.

You can't remove the thread but if you stop coming back to it, people will eventually get bored and bugger off.

I'm sure she has received plenty of spam mail here from the trolling domly doms, That Stupidly send mail to any profile that is Female, With there Preconceived ideas of what is and is't, That fact that "Looking though your mail",, Indicates you have sent the same mail to more the one. I',m sure like many of us here it was marked Spam Delete, Block and has been long forgot.

OP,you first come in saying you are sorry for "sending such an "uninformed" post" then get defensive when others agree.If you were truly serious about finding the slave you mouthed off to,there is a search feature in your CM mailbox that allows you to pull up the mail that has those key words in it. Since it shows you started this profile on 6/18/2013, you should not have that many messages with the key words in it....unless you send out form letters to the ones you write. Try looking in your received mail with the key word of limits and try to convince her you are merely "uninformed" rather than a troll seeking attention.And Rasicallymisty,your mail or the person that responded to your mail message does NOT disappear if they block you...I've had a few block me after messaging me so I know better.They only disappear if you delete them or after 6 months time has passed.

Not true, when somebody puts you on hide, you can still search for them and mail them, you just won't show up anymore in searches they do.
When somebody blocks you, you can still search for them, and find their profile, you just can't mail them anymore.

The only way to no longer have an active profile to show up in your searches is by putting it on hide yourself.

Status: offline 		The op is not a newbie. This profile is new. His old profile was here since 2006. He says who he was on his new profile and it shows when he started that profile.

In a couple days... what? A week? He offended someone with his projections and expectations of how it is and needs to do the honorable thing and can't, so he comes here?

Yeah... and I have a real diamond I can sell ya, cheap... just because I'm nice like that.

I'm curious as to why "uniformed" is in quotes.

It reads as sarcasm, meaning that you really think that slaves have no limits. (I mean after all, you DID say it in the first place)

If your apology is sincere, unfortunately, posting it here won't do much good. People on the CM side rarely come here and we rarely go there.

You screwed up, you tried to make good on it. It's done. In the world of internet email gaffes, it's an insignificant one, but in the world of dull day on the boards, the molehill is becoming a mountain.

It should be in your sent file unless it was over 6 months ago.
You didn't invent saying something stupid online, as every one of us is more than capable of being an asshole --some more capable than others--.I know I have more competence in that area than I care to admit.

So, no harm in extending the olive branch even if the chances of it being seen by the right person is remote at best.

Status: offline 		I believe he did make a sincere effort in the belief that maybe, just maybe she was a poster here. And you have to give OP credit for at least stopping and reflecting on making a mistake. That demonstrates he's at least a little more three-dimensional than some of the copypasta slingers out there.

OP? If you're still checking up on this, maybe you should lurk here awhile and pick up some insight into how others have succeeded in making real contacts. Just a thought, and best of luck to you. There's nothing wrong with being a spectator in the forums.

Status: offline 		Paul and then you will run into a slave which will tell you that they have no limits...and that their limits are whatever your limits are. LOL You'll be like a ping pong ball here at this rate (bouncing around trying to figure this crap out).

First and foremost, figure out what you want and don't want. Then when checking out profiles of sub/slaves with limits...see if it conflicts with what you want.

Really not too much of a need to publicly apologize, let alone take this whole matter to heart. She was/is just one of many complete strangers you'll cross paths with online.

At least now you know and realize the differences of mindsets a little more when it comes to this lifestyle. (A good thing).

When posting on any forum on the Internet you must be prepared for people to dunk your naughty bits in boiling oil just to watch you squirm. To not expect negative responses is to set yourself up for a humiliating experience overall.

If you were sincere and learned your lesson, good for you. If you aren't willing to listen to the criticism then the Internet might not be right for you. We all make mistakes, what we learn from them and how we respond to them once we realize our error is what defines us as human beings.

Did you check your trash file for collarme notifications?

While this side: collarchat (aka the forum side) has a lot of members, comparatively few of the collarme members ever poke their heads over on this side.

Now you have information you didn't have before and won't make the same mistake.

As someone pointed out earlier, this isn't his first profile.

I've been on the end of this view, he's apologising for, more than once over the years. He just changes his name once reported enough, then sends the same out again, having forgot who he sent it to the last time.

Status: offline 		Dude, you can't even remember the slave's name that you sent it to! To me that says you really don't care and only posted this for your own selfish reasons whatever they may be.

I mean if you were truly apologetic you would have remembered her name. If some dude came on here and said he couldn't remember my name to apologize to me I would wonder why the hell you wrote to me in the first place then...just to be annoying and pick a fight with me to tell me what you think? When I was single and still looking I would have placed you on ignore ASAP knowing you had zero interest in me.
