Actually, the choice the listener has is simple, keep tuning to the station or stations or don't. If enough people chose to tune to a different station other than those owned by Clear Channel, then they might change their tune and policy. Now unless clear channel has armed personnel running around forcing people at gunpoint to listen to their stations, I have to ask, what the fuck is the problem? With free internet streaming media like pandora, and since most car stereos have an aux input in the front for mp3 players or cell phones, not to mention satellite radio services... Could someone explain why there are no alternatives to clear channel stations? Radio stations make money by advertising, advertising is based on listeners, the more listeners the more money the station makes. Less listeners, the lower the market share, the lower the advertising revenue. And the only stuff I know about radio I learned watching WKRP on tv, and at the age I watched WKRP I was more interested in the scenes with Loni Anderson than anything else. Hell the only reason I watched Dukes of Hazard was for the car and daisy.
