ORIGINAL: UnicornGoddess I recently discovered that I find something profoundly attractive about people who have been disfigured or scarred, particularly when the scarring has occurred on their face. Part of it is the idea of past tragedy which is...somehow romantic to me ("romantic" in the sense of "heroic", "idealistic" or "picturesque"). Now, I have heard about amputee fetishes and fetishes for congenital deformities, but are there others here who, like me, found they have a fetish for other forms of disfigurement in general? Or perhaps for facial injuries specifically? I am interested in hearing from others who have this or similar kinks, as this is new to me and I'm trying to explore my feelings about it. Oh, if you're curious, this was the first thing that made me realise I was attracted to disfigured people: http://static.guim.co.uk/sys-images/Media/Pix/pictures/2011/3/4/1299251079560/Boardwalk-Empire-Richard--007.jpg Which, in turn, reminded me of this guy: http://thehumanmarvels.com/900/sam-alexander-the-man-with-two-faces/disfigured ...Well, they do say that chicks dig scars! Yep, "chicks dig scars" - had first hand experience of that. Then there was the night I got in a fight and despite coming out on top, managed to "score" primarily courtesy of a puffed and bloody eye socket. We'd been dating for about a month or so (waaaay too long ago to remember now) but she really warmed up for our first time that night.... lol I dunno, maybe the attraction of scars is some primal thing - evidence of a strong male whose lived life and survived; has fought for his right to exist and take his rightful place in the pecking order etc. And strength has status in the animal kingdom. Whatever - I'm sure shrinks or google has a better answer. But what I do know is that there's a damned good reason why they say "chicks dig scars". Focus.
