bridal - though a valid solution - was not the word I scrambled, but I cannot recall what was. Can someone help me? (Ah, now I recall the word. Have fun.)

bridal

1. ribald - noun
· a ribald person; someone who uses vulgar and offensive language
Hypernym(s): vulgarian

2. ribald - adjective
· humorously vulgar; "bawdy songs"; "off-color jokes"; "ribald language"
Synonym(s): bawdy, off-color

Edit to add either way it goes, since you did collar, you need to add a new scrambled word.

But I did: I supplied bridal as the new scramble.

The word that I scrambled was seggar, but I suppose that sagger is a valid solution.

foveas

What is foveas? It is not in my dictionaries. Foveate = pitted, is though. The word that I scrambled was not foveas, but it is valid, I suppose - even though I do not know what it means.

My new scramble is the same six letters, now - to exclude it - spelled as

foveas.

I will give a hint: the word that I scrambled in a distant/vague way may be associated with bees.

Rule -> RE: ****6 Letter Unscramble**** (8/24/2006 1:06:14 AM)

I will give a second hint: it is not a plural.

heartfeltsub -> RE: ****6 Letter Unscramble**** (8/24/2006 4:13:44 AM)

sorry i have no idea.

Rule -> RE: ****6 Letter Unscramble**** (8/24/2006 4:43:26 AM)

I never used the word myself, just happened to see it in a dictionary - it is English.

Third hint: it is an adjective.

Fourth hint: in foveas all the consonants are in the correct order, but none of the vowels is in their correct place.

OutlawWanderer -> RE: ****6 Letter Unscramble**** (8/24/2006 11:53:40 AM)

favose

(actually, my first guess was foveas as well)

Now: ferias
