AAkasha -> RE: How to tell if a woman is dominant? (9/29/2013 12:25:00 AM)

I'm a femdom, and I've always told men that basically no one would know - but a man would CLEARLY know the moment I wanted him to know. Also, I have groups of girlfriends that may go out with me, and I could tell you at the end of the night if a sub was there and we quizzed him, "who do you think was the femdom?" there would be one of that all the subs would pick every time, and she is NOT kinky at all, if anything she's as vanilla as can be and submissive in the bedroom, but she has a domineering personality, a controlling way about her. That kind of thing says nothing about kink or dominance or power exchange. When I am "flirting" with a man and showing interest in a sensual way, then I "switch on" my femdom "vibe." Then it shows. It's in body language, a bit of double meaning when I can fit it into jokes, and then I am always the one - always - to make the first move (kiss, intimacy, etc.). I don't leave any doubt, if a man is submissive, that I am dominant. If anything, I am figuring out what he knows about kink, if anything, or getting a sense if he's a dominant type and we're going to butt heads. I'm not in a position anymore to pursue "sexual" partners. But I recall the biggest challenge when pursuing (flirtatiously) new partners was not determining if they were submissive/open to kink, but weaning out men that were not of the mindset, "Oh, hey, she's kinky that's cool, I can do that, that mean's she's easy, tie me up and blow me!" -- meaning, they were like, "Yes, I can be submissive, YES MA'AM!" Luckily I got pretty good at sensing that early on. Akasha
