I had morning blurry eyes.

The result is that I am now on thyroid medicine. I still suspect my sugar is erratic- but this is as far as we got on the matter.

Take it one day at a time Missokyst.

Fix what you can, when you can. Try and stay busy to take your mind off things.

Music and dancing help me more than anything. Good luck chickie, this too shall pass.

You should get your eyes checked. Could be natural aging where the eyes get farsighted, could be glaucoma, macular degeneration, cataracts, and yes, some of those come from diabetes. In any case, it needs to identified and treated.

I don't know if there's a teen in the neighborhood who babysits and wouldn't be averse to adult sitting. If so, sign her up. It will allow you to plan to get to the doctor or dentist for yourself, or even a leisurely trip to the grocery store with a stop first for coffee and a muffin.

I agree with Des.....Get it checked out. Make sure your glasses are the right strength.

I had similar symptoms and the answer is partly due to ageing and partly due to dry eyes. The tear ducts dont work as well as they did, so I need to put lubricant in twice a day... The blurryness has mostly gone.

You mentioned music. If you want to try some new music, go to tuneinradio online. You can get all sorts of different and new music. It will get you off the old problematic tunes. You might even find something that puts a spring in your step!! Have fun exploring!

Not to be a wet towel- but I think the OP is a ways off from dancing. She sounds totally worn out.

I didn't say she had to dance. I have the app on my smart phone and listened to new music that made me happy. I was thinking in terms of something novel and unexpected.

Exercise will help energize her. And dancing is great exercise.

The evening after my mother's memorial, I went to a contra dance in San Francisco. I didn't know anyone there. I just let everyone know I was grieving and I was a wreck as I came across them in the line. They gently passed me along between them as the dance steps unfolded on autopilot, sending their compassion into me with every step. It was one of the most nurturing, healing, comforting and endorphin-producing things I could have done.

Dancing is good!
