What don't you like about doms? What would you change about them? What are the some of the things that they do that annoy you or irritate you or make you hate them? What sort of their behavior that you simply don't understand? Whether it be doms in general, doms that you've been involved with in the past, or you are currently with?

Make your laundry list.

There isn't a problem with doms in general. There may be problems with particular people who think of themselves as dominant, but not as a general thing.

And I would never complain to an Internet forum about my Master. IF I had a problem with him, we would discuss it rather than me bring it to a bunch of strangers. I respect him far too much for that.

Even if it's not a complaint, is there anything that you would change, or wish that were different? How would things make it better for you?

How is anyone supposed to complain about "doms in general". That's like complaining about "men" or "women". I generally bow out of those conversations.

Complain about me? him? that guy over there? Sure. But in general? I just don't understand. Tell me what commonalities you see among all males who self-identify with that label "dominant".

That's a conversation that happens between he and I, not on a forum.

~FRing it~

Sorry, whatever problems I perceive might be in my relationship (not that I have any) are to be discussed between my partner and myself. It's not fodder for an Internet forum as chatty generalized gossip.

Any changes I wish would happen, anything I wish could be different, or ways to make things better for me would come from him...not from behind his back. Im in a relationship with him. Not with you and him.

But then again, Im guessing that's because we communicate WITH each other about our relationship, not bitch about each other to strangers found on the Internet. Just my $0.02

Well, not just Doms, but, I generally dislike it (mildly) when a new participant to the forums begins starting posts, but has no profile on the other side for me to know just a bit more about them.

Again, airing dirty laundry for ALL to see is a bad practice, and can actually make a small problem into a GIANT one. When it's a relationship it REALLY should remain between a sub and their Dominant. If a submissive doesn't feel comfortable discussing discomforts or disatisfactions with their own Dominant, there is a HUGE PROBLEM. You should be able to talk to your Dominant about ANYTHING.

This isn't a complaint so much as a warning to others to be on the lookout for this "Dom".
Rumor has it that he likes to cuddle, and has been known to spend hours in the kitchen
baking macaroons, of all things! You have been warned!

Come on... you are all human beings... with your needs and emotions... There must be times, when you just feel frustrated or annoyed or whatever? It's not really a bad thing... it just happens... to everyone...

It doesn't have to be negative... maybe there are some things that you find funny? Absurd? Silly? Anything? What do you think...

Is there not even "I wish my dom did more of...", etc?

Then how are they supposed to seek some objective opinions or advice from others, especially if they say no? Besides isn't that a bit hypocritical, given all the advice that you've given on this forum, when others complained or sought advice or just wanted to talk about their relationship?

Sorry about not having a profile... I'm not really "looking for" anyone... I just signed up so I could check the forums. You could say that I'm new to BDSM, but not really that new. I'm just curious. I still haven't figured out how subs think, and I think I want to know more. I think that BDSM is more of a sub thing, because to be honest, I don't really understand some of it.

Why are you so insistent on people talking about our partners behind their back for your entertainment? Just curious

The title of your thread was "Complaints about doms." People elect to not put their relationship on Front Street nor throw their partner under the bus...and yet you are still trying to get people to blab. Why?

I thought we didn't allow name & shame on this board. Do we need to report this post?

Right now? Carol wishes I would worry less, sleep more, and decide that she's still mine.

She probably routinely wishes I'd do more housework. There... that's gotta be along the lines you're looking for.

Dom's leave the toilet seat up.

Dom's Bogart the remotes.

Dom's try to show how dominant they are by dominating pets... which isn't funny until you see them domming a gerbil.

Dead Dom's don't wear plaid.

Dom's ponder the eternal question: To Dom, or not to Dom... THAT is the question.

Dom's have beards, or they don't.

Dom's cannot master the perfect warbler call. I said PERFECT.

Dom's have nose hairs.

Dom's wear boxers, or briefs, or nothing at all.

Dom's just Dom because they can't Dom anywhere else.

There is no place like Dom. There is no place like Dom. There is no place like Dom.

Dom's are closet sailors. When they say, "kneel bitch," they really mean, "Keel Bitch!"

Dom's think soap on a rope are little, compact tied up submissives.

A Dom wrote this post.
