Is that the same as saying a whole organization is demanding something when just one person stated her thoughts?

Isn't that the standard most commonly used by lefties to define Republicans?

She is the chapter president, what she says does reflect on the organization.
It is not like I blamed them for something a rank and file member said.

Yes, but that is because all Republicans are mind numbed robots who think in lock step.

When someone has the word "President" associated with their name, they are the voice of the organization.

A local or even state president of anything isnt the same as speaking for the whole organization

The only thing is worse is entertainers who decide to go into the public service industry.

In Obama's case it's a distinction without a difference.

You don't see the NAACP demanding federal charges against him as a slight overreaction?

Wrong, as usual, the NAACP asked Holder to investigate for federal charges.
Haven't heard of him following up maybe he has to deliver guns to Mexico.

They(NAACP) DID NOT Demand
SHE did NOT Demand.
She didnt speak to Holder.

My post was about BAMAS claims that were not simply true.

And the point she made about doing the same with any President still seems to have been overlooked.

There is NOTHING in her interview stating she is only complaining due to Obamas colour.

The fact that she used the words "Hate Crime" makes it about color per the USA legal code.

Well, Hill, it being a "hate crime" isn't immediately about race, but in this case, that is the only option. A hate crime is a crime committed based on a bias, including race, gender, sexual orientation, etc.

Was talking about the definition of "hate crime." I think there was no crime committed and can't believe the furor this clown (literal and figurative) has caused.

Defining a Hate Crime

A hate crime is a traditional offense like murder, arson, or vandalism with an added element of bias. For the purposes of collecting statistics, Congress has defined a hate crime as a “criminal offense against a person or property motivated in whole or in part by an offender’s bias against a race, religion, disability, ethnic origin or sexual orientation.” Hate itself is not a crime—and the FBI is mindful of protecting freedom of speech and other civil liberties.

http://www.fbi.gov/about-us/investigate/civilrights/hate_crimes/overview

I think to believe a hate crime must contain an element of a "violent crime" is a bit off base. I still dont see this particular incident as a hate crime.

Again, I have to teach one of you your own laws. If I can do it I am sure as hell you can. I am guessing you didnt read her interview or you would have grasped what she said ( or not )

"which permits federal prosecution of anyone who "willingly injures, intimidates or interferes with another person, or attempts to do so, by force because of the other person's race, color, religion or national origin" << Updated since to include disability and sexuality.
