Status: offline 		The truth is, there are a lot of male subs and not male female dominants on this site. So female dominants get LOTS of messages. If yours doesn't stand out, no, she probably won't look at your profile. You can expect most of your messages to get no reply - this is true of all dating sites as I understand it, but probably moreso here where there are so many more men than women.

Some might consider for a while before sending a message. Personally, I wouldn't reply to you because nearly all your pictures are unrealistic porn drawings which is very offputting. Your text is in a hard-to-read colour and tells me nothing except you are kinky - it also needs spell checking.

^^^This. Gawd, I hate those damn drawings and automatically bypass anyone who has them in his profile.

The Ask A Mistress FAQ has tons of good information about how to create a profile more likely to get you a quality response, and what to say when approaching dominant women. A good read and heed before proceeding further would be in your best interest. Good luck to you.

Try something different. Make your profile show you doing things. Hobbies. Work activities. Etc. Any Domme can get a sub male - show why you're more than just a sub male.

As chauvinistic it is to expect a man to appear to have these superior traits while you don't your self. You don't feel the need to make the same level of effort as him because being a woman covers that in the books of plenty on here as it appears.

Take a look at your profile for example. It's very average. But considering the trend, a man has to make a profile more sparkling than yours to get your interest.

You make a good point, although it's probably more a matter of supply and demand, as mentioned above. The numbers are lopsided, so the "few" don't really need to try as hard as the "many" (and this often shows up in some of the profiles). I don't know that it's chauvinistic, though.

Oddly enough, I don't think it's the same on all dating sites. I was checking out the stats on Alexa for various dating sites, and it seems that religious dating sites have more women than men.

Status: offline 		Steven, as always you are so insightful. Yes, I agree. Although I did like the general FEEL of his profile, and he was a perfect gentleman when we conversed briefly last night. Many of his interests lined up with Mine, it's a pity he's 3,000 miles away.

Examples of Service-related photos that get My attention are NON-KINKY ones of the man doing some sort of work such as welding, tinkering on an engine, splitting firewood, doing home repairs, doing housework, washing a car. You don't have to be nude or even show your face, just show that you are the HELPFUL sort who can make your Domme's life easier by doing the above things for Her.

Non-Service photos I've noticed are usually casual, or even candid ones portraying daily life activities.

Of course you have a problem with that. You totally skipped over the part where she said that the dommes get tons of messages and that means his has to stand out and twisted it into your usual bs about people thinking women are worth more. Now I would tell you that your posting history is available to anyone who wants to see what kind of attitude you have, but in this case I think that ship sailed a long time ago.

Status: offline 		To answer the original, I'd say it's not something that I do. I'm not really a profile cruiser and if I would want to contact somebody, I'd just do it. Doesn't really happen terribly often unless it's somebody from the forums on a friendly basis.

Keep in mind, this is coming from somebody who has a huge preference for just meeting folks in the local community.

Your question shouldn't be "will a mistress read my profile?" The more important question is "What will a Domme think once she reads my profile?"

IMO, you have done nothing in your profile to entice/convince a woman to contact you. Your profile is extremely short, and contains almost no information about you. It essentially says "I want to serve a woman". That's it.

Think of your profile as a sales pitch. WHY should a woman be interested in you? What makes you interesting? What makes you unique? What special skills/traits do you possess? What activities do you enjoy? Sell yourself!!!!

If your profile were your resume, do you think any Dommes would "hire" you? C'mon, be honest.

If I were you, I'd start all over and try to make your profile more interesting. Remember, you're not the only male on CollarMe. You are in competition with others. And most of them have profiles that are better than yours.

Ah, nick, nick, nick. Would it surprise you to learn that not every woman cares about 'super duper smoking hot', especially physically? That the qualities of friendship, compassionate communication, helpfulness, balance, humor, responsibility, and applied intelligence rev my engine to the nth degree where a 'hot' photo gets just a momentary glance from me?

I have 2 long-term (14 and 15 years) ongoing partnerships (both men), and my third darling (also a man) from out of the area visits me about once a month. Would it surprise you to know that only one fits the typical physical definition of 'hot', yet to me all three are the hottest gentlemen on the planet because of the other qualities and how they apply to me?

Might I add that none of them whine about perceived inequities and injustices? They welcome love, want to return love in kind, and so I love them.
