Well... what is it? Are you inline with the Tea Party and think Cruz is eligible?

Or do you thing by being born outside of the nation he is ineligible?

The problem is that natural born citizen is not defined in any law. The common meaning is either "citizen by birth" or "citizen born in the US."

The birthers have spent quite a lot of effort trying to make it the latter and then find some fiction which "proves" the President was born outside the US. Now they find themselves in a situation where the crazy guy some of them want doesn't qualify by their own standard so they have to engage in frankly hilarious mental gymnastics to justify their support for the crazy guy.

It should be a funny couple of years till Cruz drops out of the race.

I remember Goldie Hawn's line from the movie Protocol, when asked if she's ever had any foreign travel: "Actually, I haven't been anywhere. Oh, I was in Canada once, but that's like, attached!"

I guess Canada doesn't seem quite so foreign from an American viewpoint as other nations do. Especially in circles where foreign travel is viewed as kind of a status symbol; when people talk about all the different places they've visited, saying that you've only been to Canada just isn't very impressive. I guess it's not "foreign" enough. It's really the Canadians' fault. If they made more of a concerted to be more foreign, then Americans wouldn't make mistakes like this. [;)]

That points out an important truth about the Radicals, which is why they are so dangerous to this nation: the handful of nut-cases in government are a symptom of the wide-ranging fanaticism in the electorate at large. Those Tea Party looneys in government were elected by popular vote. (Yes, all the district rigging and keep-out-the-voter efforts contributed, but who ran those efforts, hmmm?) What we see on the news is just the tip of the iceberg, which is why this country is headed for civil war, and is firmly in its decline.

Much as I hate to follow Tazzy as she pointed out in another thread a person who is part of a group, with no official position can NOT be said to speak for the whole organization.
Fruitcake yes but she does not speak for the tea party.
She does not speak for the Republican party.
She does not speak for the right.
Cruz is eligible because his mother was a US citizen period.
Same as the bottom line for Obama his mother was a US citizen period, end of discussion.
