Two wrongs make a right? Not at all. But standing in a field stomping your foot about something that happened yesterday when you allowed it to happen for a few years before hand is a bit hypocritical, especially when the only difference is the fact that the person now doing it is a different person.

You are right, that is hypocritical. Of course so is having a fit about something that happened 8 years ago and ignoring the guy who did it today. Funny how some people on this forum seem to miss that one.

Of course so is having a fit about something happening recently (and with precedent) and while ignoring the guy who did it 8 years ago, especially since to not ignore it at that time was often called Un-American or traitorous. Funny how some people on this forum seem to miss that one.

Shouldn't be much longer till this shit ends.

(Reuters) - The U.S. National Security Agency has bugged the United Nations' New York headquarters, Germany's Der Spiegel weekly said on Sunday in a report on U.S. spying that could further strain relations between Washington and its allies.

Citing secret U.S. documents obtained by fugitive former intelligence contractor Edward Snowden, Der Spiegel said the files showed how the United States systematically spied on other states and institutions.

Der Spiegel said the European Union and the U.N.'s Vienna-based nuclear watchdog, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), were among those targeted by U.S. intelligence agents.

According to the documents, the NSA runs a bugging program in more than 80 embassies and consulates worldwide called "Special Collection Service". "The surveillance is intensive and well organized and has little or nothing to do with warding off terrorists," wrote Der Spiegel.

Terrorism? Of course not. It's the sole acts of a tyrant.

This was the OP.. was it not?

We can all agree to disagree, obviuosly. I don't look at the collective we... Im for freedom and individual liberty. Every other response given is "republicans did it"... lol. Thats a cop out and I was just as outspoken about what a fucktard he was too. Problem is Obamabots are so blind they can not fathom dear leader doing any wrong, let alone having a voice about it in the here and now! Maybe after he's out of office you'll be able to look at things a little more objectively. And like I said before.. I get it, for those who voted for him, you are showing their loyalty. Lol. Cling to whatever is needed.

mnottertail -> RE: Needs BUG SPRAY, and lots of it (8/26/2013 11:32:18 AM)

Well the nutsucker bots point this out to us, but they are the worst of the offenders. I am sure a great deal will be said about Obama out of office, they are saying a great deal while he is in. Now I wonder what they are going to say about the next president? It will certainly be a democrat, you shit your diapers nutsuckers at your age, you are gonna sit in it awhile, I expect there will not be a republican president for the next few cycles.

I hope its neither! We need fresh perspective and I highly doubt we'll get it from a dem or repub. The GOP is basically dead and DNC is right there too. They are all the same. "Nothing to see here people, move along".

mnottertail -> RE: Needs BUG SPRAY, and lots of it (8/26/2013 11:42:39 AM)

You will never see it, we need to rid ourselves of the electoral college, whose sole purpose these days is to be shadow hacks for the party machinery, and real and total finance reform.

Until then.........

Tazzy... I didn't make up the list, I support homeschooling. I'm a homeschooling advocate and we homeschool our children.

It is always nice to meet someone who speaks several foriegn languages. You are fluent in math, music, algebra? That coupled with knowledge of history, geography and science would be things I would look for in someone who home schools..

I'm just telling you groups of people the government considers "free thinkers" and a possible threat. Preppers also fall into this group... anyone that believes in sustaining their own, without "needing" the government.

You do not need the govt?????

Impeachment... I'm well aware of reasons for impeachment. Let's see, I think he has high crimes down pat... From Benghazi, to literally funding a war from the White House. People seem to just look over what he is doing!! I don't get it.

Why is regime change good in iraq and afghanistan but not good in lybia?

Do I think he'll be impeached? No, I don't. I think he was a pawn used and we won't get rid of him until the end of his term... if we're lucky. ;) For the record, I see no difference between Democrat and Republican politicians... they are all funded by the same people.

If so then why are you attacking only the articulate one with the big ears?

Just curious. Was this a swipe at DS or Tazzy, because they both said they homeschooled?

Hell, Kennedy might as well have had a revolving door installed in the WH for all the sluts he had in and out. And cover up with the family motto.

Clinton was a pretty likable guy. And I could care less who either he or the Kennedy's were fucking as long as it was consensual.

There isnt a single president in history who hasnt fucked up. And you might want to review some poster's histories to see exactly who wears the blinders around here.

Yes, I voted for Obama. The alternative was a joke.

Wasnt at me. I have answered those questions more than once and explained how we homeschooled mine. Why are you curious about anyone taking a swipe at anyone else?

That was covered under the "quit pointing fingers at people and lets discuss the issue".

Why dont you try that? You just may like the results.

First... I didn't attack anyone. I simply gave my opinion and how I feel. We all have opinions and generally speaking they are all worth squat.

I didnt say no government, but limited government instead of this massive beast... hell yes! Lol. I don't need them to watch over my every move... I don't need them to tell me what I can and can not consume. .. I don't need them to tell me who I can or can not marry... I don't need them to tell me what is best for me, my children or my neighbor. Best part all while charging us top dollar... ugh, it really is disgusting.

How watchful would you like them to be?

Do you feel it is right for the govt to require producers to provide full disclosure about the food products they sell?

Are you kewel with brother marrying sister and father to daughter?

I think the govt might have a compelling interest in what is best if you chose to use your neighbor for target practice.

So let me ask you this.... do you honestly think what's holding back a flood of inbreds is the law?
Consenting adults shouldn't have to ask permission to get married, period.
For a better understanding you should look into the marriage license and why it was originally created. The license came about to permit free men and women the ability to marry slaves. It was essentially a permission slip from the slaves owner. Prior to that there was no such thing.

Food labels... oh you mean like GMOS being listed on products? BO is in Montasanos back pocket so that won't be happening anytime soon.

Neighbors... target practice? Lol. I suppose next it'll be "but how we would get our mail" OR my favorite "what about the roads". Lol

You arent asking permission. You are demanding the government recognize your marriage/union. Without that little piece of paper, you lose a whole slew of bennies.

Thats where I disagree Tazzy... shocker, huh? Lol

You're not demanding anything. .. you're paying them!
