In the perjury PCA, the State wrote:

Q: And you mentioned also, in terms of the ability of your husband to make a bond amount, that you all had no money, is that correct?
A: To my knowledge, that is correct.
Q: Were you aware of the website that Mr. Zimmerman or somebody on his behalf created?
A: I’m aware of that website.
Q: How much money is in that website right now? How much money as a result of that website was—
A: Currently, I do not know.
Q: Do you have any estimate as to how much money has already been obtained or collected?
A: I do not.

The two bolded statements are lies as the tapes of her conversations with her husband proved. That's why bond was revoked and she was charged with perjury and that is why she pled guilty. She was guilty and she knew it.

No man or woman worth perjuring yourself for would want or ask
you to perjure yourself for him or her. All lying in court is going to
get you is another push up shit creek. And legal entanglements aside
when you commit perjury you compromise yourself.

exactly.. I would never ask anyone to do that for me, one person being in trouble is bad enough but dragging another person you care about into that means both people are in trouble.. and those feelings of being used, duped, regret, resentment, etc will eat away & destroy most relationships.. as Shellie & Zimmy have found out..

well,.. I dunno.. is any guy worth doing that for?

I can't comment on guys but I can guarantee you that in the right circumstances Carol would be worth doing that for. It is not a joke when I say I'd lay down my life for her in a heartbeat. I'd also lay down my freedom for hers. Of course, in our case, "right circumstances" wouldn't include anything like the Zimmerman case. For that what she'd get from me is "Go rot in jail and oh yeah, I want a divorce."

mnottertail -> RE: Shellie Zimmerman say she feels alone. (8/29/2013 3:10:19 PM)

Well exactly how many bucks you guys got? Cuz if it is worth getting my hands on it..........I'll cmail Carol and we can give it a go.......I may not be a pushover, but I can be had.

Oh well christ Ron! Wouldn't it be a lot simpler just to send her over for a few blowjobs?

mnottertail -> RE: Shellie Zimmerman say she feels alone. (8/29/2013 3:30:32 PM)

Hey, they just would be way hotter if you were laying down your life for them at the same time.....that is all I am sayin, I am sure she got mad skillz and all.

doing that for someone voluntarily is one thing, but in the Shellie-Zimmy saga it was Zimmy pulling the strings, telling her to take the money out (always under 10k so it wouldn't be reported) and move it around and all that shite.. He allowed her to be in the hot seat in front of the judge while his brother was safely elsewhere so he couldn't get in trouble (his wife was obviously disposable to him tho).. as she said, he was in control and she did what he wanted her to, & she was dumb enough to.. Zimmy manipulated and used her.. I cant see either you or your Carol treating each other like that..

EdBowie -> RE: Shellie Zimmerman say she feels alone. (8/29/2013 4:46:47 PM)

It does seem that those who were salivating at the thought of both Zimmerman's rotting away in prison, are going to have to conjure up another dire fantasy to comfort themselves with.

Anyone want to give odds on when the trial of prosecutors for lying to the court, or the Judge Lester trial for violating his oath of office will take place?

She is alone. She picked the wrong guy to perjure herself for.
Live and learn, Shellie.

Except she didn't actually commit perjury. Though with the deal offered, it was a no brainer. She won't even get a conviction on her record.

Yeah, I'm not trying to be deliberately obtuse. But you did ask. My answer was "Yes... just not in this situation."

Jeff.. I could never call you "obtuse".. [;)]
..but that word reminds of an episode of WKRP in Cincinnati where someone calls Les Nessman "obtuse" and he takes it as a great compliment..at first.. [:D]

No, the tapes proved no such thing.

Sure, that's why the judge revoked the bond and she was charged with perjury. The judge had it in for her.

She committed perjury and they let her plead to misdemeanor perjury because they were being nice to her. They had her and everyone knew it. She's still looking at losing her nursing license so it wasn't to save that.

Raiikun -> RE: Shellie Zimmerman say she feels alone. (8/30/2013 12:30:46 AM)

There is still no proof that perjury was committed.

Looking at those 2 questions again:

Q: How much money is in that website right now? How much money as a result of that website was—
A: Currently, I do not know.

Nothing in those phone calls gives any indication that on April 20, 2012 while Shellie was in court, that she knew what was present in the website at that moment.

It doesn't exist.

Q: Do you have any estimate as to how much money has already been obtained or collected?
A: I do not.

Again, an "estimate" is subjective, and therefore cannot be a basis for perjury. Florida case law is clear on that.

1) I said all along that the judge was in the right to feel misled and thus to revoke bond. That's a far different standard than perjury.
2) That is begging the question. Lots of innocent people are charged with crimes. Being charged doesn't make you guilty.

Why would you believe she is still at risk for losing her license?

Those tapes discuss intentionally giving intentionally deceitful answers to those questions. That is the basis for the perjury claims.

She pled guilty so in the end her lawyers and she herself thought she was guilty and would lose at trial so they took the deal.

Why would you believe she is still at risk for losing her license?

Because someone will file a complaint with the state board and since she did commit perjury she very well may have her license revoked for moral turpitude.

EdBowie -> RE: Shellie Zimmerman say she feels alone. (8/30/2013 4:52:01 AM)

So Judge Lester who was ruled by the system to be biased, didn't have it in for her? Sort of an intermittent bias/fairness thingy?

And I'd really like to see a list of all these nurses whose licenses have been revoked over simple misdemeanors that carried no jail time and were expunged (as this one will be).

He can't HANDLE the truth.

That would be a cool movie line.
