i recently read a post on another site about a slave hunt. slaves and subs would be turned loose in the woods and soon after, Doms and Dommes begin the hunt. After capture, the slaves and subs were to be taken back and chained for display and use. Sounds like lots of fun. Any interest?

Usually, putting something like this together does better when it's an event within your local BDSM community.

I've got some posts about participating in these in the past. You might be able to find them from using the search feature. It's been a few years now. Try keywords "sub hunt" or "subbie hunt".

I am so picky about who I play and have sex with that the idea of random "display and use" is a huge turn off.

I have always wanted to try something like this. Unfortunately I have a very high escape ratio and it probably wouldn't work. I was never "IT" in tag either.

OK, help out the noobie here. Are there really droves of subs/slaves that want to get used by random individuals? I would've thought that was pretty darned rare.

Jeff,
I think that's one turn off. Being put up for random use is not necessary to the game. Just being chained back at the 'home spot', seeing how long it takes the Doms to round up all the subbies, could be fun on its own. Some who consider themselves slaves will play with others at their Masters discretion, but usually those Masters are as picky as the slaves would have been, anyway.

Kinky hide-n-seek. I like this idea a lot. It would require some in-depth planning and logistics though, as well as a piece of very private land. Still, pretty cool idea.

Of the five I have either seen in person or talked about with someone who engaged in this type of play, there was not even one that allowed play beyond the scope of what their owners allowed.
So, slave hunts might have been full out sex, a bondage session, or a flogging, or even a massage. Unowned slaves offered up what they would do prior to the start of the hunt.
Oh, and at least 2 of those were for funding future events, sort of like the kinky version of a box social.

Random use? I find that idea is more prevalent among internet doms, or people who are into slut shaming.

Thanks for the clarification. I can easily see the appeal of the "kinky hide & seek" part. That "use" part.. .yeah that is more like what you described. Sure I'd let someone else use Carol but it sure as hell isn't going to be some random strangers who paid 30 bucks to get into a kink event.

Sane and consensual limits would be assumed to apply as i thought i understood applied to all activities. Please excuse me for my poor description of what i had read.

To all the responding posters: Please forgive my inability to adequately re-describe what i had read in the posts elsewhere. Of course any activity would not be random and agreed to limits would have to be observed.

No need for an apology Rick. It was more likely a problem on my side than yours. I don't have much contact with events like this so I had to just read what you wrote as-is. In addition, for someone with a relationship like mine stuff like SSC is not relevant so when I see "use" I tend to see it in a pretty broad context.

Honestly, I still wouldn't do this with a woman like Carol. I've learned to be cautious about exposing her to BDSM doms without my direct and CLOSE supervision. I've seen things way more low-key than this go wrong (think... helping to cook for a dinner party... no kink at all... damned near had to leave the dinner party and certainly had to ... uh ... be fairly direct with the host. It's easy to see how this could be a lot of fun though with a different personality than hers.

Jeff,

i understand completely, and even more so after reading this confusion. Expectations and perceptions in anything can have a major role in the enjoyment of all involved. Maybe i naively assume that all involved have others best interest at heart, but realized that is not always the case.
