The video about anal cunt is how they are being criticised. So it's a very poor example. Plus, you seem to miss where it was mentioned that they only play in underground rock venues.

Again, you keep ignoring the fact that such content that incites violence against women is not passed as being socially acceptable, while on the other hand, it's not against the law. While it's passed as being socially acceptable and even humorous when there is content about a man's penis being mutilated.

You keep ignoring this difference and babble on with weak comparisons.

Unlike Lana Shea who is playing Glastonbury next year? Besides, how do we know she wasn't being criticised, considering your lack of proof that this even happened?

And no comment on Kreator being on the MTV website?

Smack My Bitch Up by the Prodigy. On all the mainstream music channels.,

No it isn't. Because for it to be "socially acceptable" people would need to actually be aware of Lana Shea. And she isn't a mainstream artist, despite your repeated lies that she is. Much like your claim it's a feminist song. No citations. No proof. Not worth taking seriously.

By which you mean comparisons you ask for, then don't like because they show you up.

Guns N' Roses - Fox Late Night Show '88 - I Used To Love Her...

I used to love her but I had to kill her
I used to love her, oh yeah but I had to kill her
I had to put her six feet under
And I can still hear her complain

I used to love her, oh yeah but I had to kill her
I used to love her, yeah but I had to kill her
I knew I'll miss her so I had to keep her
She's buried right in my back yard
Oh yeah, oh yeah, oh yeah, oh

I used to love her but I had to kill her
I used to love her, oh yeah but I had to kill her
She bitched so much, she drove me nuts
And now I'm happier this way
Oh yeah, oh, oh

I used to love her but I had to kill her
I used to love her, oh yeah but I had to kill her
She bitched so much
, she drove me nuts
And I can still hear her complain

You're making a faulty argument. It doesn't matter how many people know Lana. The fact of the matter is that it's socially acceptable in mainstream media because it's considered as a humorous and harmless thing, ONLY when men are the victims of a woman.

Where is it ever considered humorous where a man goes around doing bad shit to women's vaginas?

"Die, Die My Darling" was covered by the American heavy metal Metallica for their 1998 covers album Garage Inc.. Metallica's version was released as a single in Australia, Germany, Japan, and Mexico, and reached #26 on Billboard' Mainstream Rock Tracks chart in the United States.

Die, die, die my darling
Don't utter a single word
Die, die, die my darling
Just shut your pretty mouth

I'll be seeing you again
I'll be seeing you in hell

Don't cry to me oh baby
Your future's in an oblong box, yeah
Don't cry to me oh baby
Should have seen it a-comin' on
Don't cry to me oh baby
I don't know it was in your power
Don't cry to me oh baby
Dead-end girl for a dead-end guy
Don't cry to me oh baby
Now your life drains on the floor
Don't cry to me oh baby

Die, die, die my darling
Don't utter a single word
Die, die, die my darling
Just shut your pretty mouth

I'll be seeing you again
I'll be seeing you in hell

Don't cry to me a baby
Your future is in an oblong box
Don't cry to me oh baby
Should have seen the end a-comin' on, a-comin'
Don't cry to me oh baby
I don't know it was in your power
Don't cry to me oh baby
Dead-end girl for a dead-end guy
Don't cry to me oh baby
Now your life drains on the floor
Don't cry to me oh baby

Die, die, die my darling

Die, die, die my darling
Shut your pretty mouth

I'll be seeing you again

Don't cry to me oh baby
Die, die, die my darling
Don't cry to me oh baby
Die, die, die my darling
Die, die, die my darling
Die, die, die my darling

Die, die, die, die, die, die....

Are you denying that Smack My Bitch Up does so?

Apart from it isn't socially acceptable in mainstream media. I defy you to provide a single source that treats domestic violence against men by women in a comedic fashion.

But people are indicating that I shouldn't be complaining about it in a forum. Unfortunately, many people think that men should shut up about anything that's sexist against their gender. Men don't have the right to complain, period!

Yet, it's all fine and dandy for women to chuck mental fits on the streets and jump up and down about things so petty like a lad mag.

I only skimmed the thread but I didn't see anybody say that you shouldn't have created the post. I would probably agree with another poster who said this subject isn't particularly politics or religion. The thread hasn't been removed, so I'd have to say that it's not violating ToS, which means you had the right to post it.

quote:

It's raising awareness of an issue.

OK. However, except for disliking the thing on youtube, I don't see you giving any productive options for those who feel like you do.

quote:

If a woman brings up a female issue on this forum, how many people are talking to her the same way they talk to me when I bring up male issues?

You can raise awareness. What you can't do is force people to think of the matter in the same way that you do.

quote:

Sorry, but I am sick and tired of this sexist double standard.

What are forums for again? Discussion? Debate? Rants?

So why is it okay to rant about any other problem that exist on this forum but there is a double standard when the rant is about male issues?

It doesn't seem to Me like anybody is stopping you from ranting. The thread is posted, right? So, who stopped you? That means you had just as much right to post it as anybody had the right to post a thread about things that were negative towards women. People don't have to support your position in their responses. They just have to abide within the guidelines and ToS.

quote:

I've asked that same question above many times in this forum, and not one person has ever answered it because it simply exposes the double standard.

If a complaint about male issues shouldn't allowed on this forum, that means rants about any other issue in the world shouldn't be allowed in this forum.

A double standard would exist if the thread was removed from the forum entirely or threads about the issues of men were not permitted but threads regarding the issues of women were allowed to be posted. You really are being "allowed" to do so by the site. The original post isn't being taken off of the forum. (Though I might understand the decision if a Mod moved it to Off Topic.)

Like with any thread around here, posters do have the right to say they aren't concerned about the issue or it doesn't affect them. I do the same type of responses when people put up threads to complain about findommes or how bad ageism is in the lifestyle because an eighteen year old master doesn't think he's getting the respect he says he deserves. On the scale of priorities, those things just don't matter to Me much.

From what you people are saying in here, I am guessing the same applies to the feminists protesting against lad mags?

They are pathetic whiners too?

Oh there's a double standard.

I can just imagine, you people would be singing a whole different tune if a person made a thread in this forum about the lad mags article.

You miscomprehended what I am saying.

I'm not saying that I'm actually not allowed to post these threads as for some type of site rule. However, the attitudes people display towards me when I make these threads indicate that they believe I am not entitled.

These same people have no problem at all when a woman makes a complaint about female issues or when feminists in general complain ENDLESSLY in society about poor women being victims. Such as slutwalks and protests about lag mags.

What's good for the goose is good for the gander. If women can complain all they want, as they have been for the past 50 odd years, that means men are entitled to complain also.

Fair game, equal standards.

Well, rather than bitching that you're being picked on with a double standard, perhaps you'd like to spend less time whining and more addressing (rather than ignoring) the points that have been raised about your initial, strangely unconvincing, point?
We're still waiting for an explanation of how some bint with a novelty song on youtube is receiving more media support than bands with record companies pushing their output, after all.

But you ignore the main point. Would a song ever be shown on your mainstream TV that was about a man shooting women's vaginas because he got unwanted attention from them?

If you haven't watched this video, time to educate your self.

The problem I see with the people's responses here is that they keep dodging the crux of the matter. They keep desperately trying to use diversions away from the actual point.

Which is: Would a song ever be shown on your mainstream TV that was about a man shooting women's vaginas because he got unwanted attention from them?

Why is it considered so harmless and humorous when a man gets his genitals mutilated by a woman but if it was the other way around, OMG misogyny!

Probably. We have seen women being beaten up, shot elsewhere, driven off a cliff in a car's boot, stabbed, electrocuted, zapped with lasers, mutilated, beheaded and various other forms of choreographed aggro, so why not that one?
(BTW: shooting a gun up the vagina is not a direct analogy to a bullet through the cock. That'd be shooting the clit off...)

Unlike your ultra on topic lad mags argument?

We have no evidence that this video has ever been shown on mainstream tv. No, your word is not good enough.

Apart from it's not and, yet again, you've shown no evidence otherwise.

So that means the feminist protest against lag mags, the same standard applies? They shouldn't be complaining because we see violence against men in mags/media all the time? We see men objectified all the time?

They are just acting like whiny school girls?

Or are you going to flip flop, flip flop :D
