I didn't hear the reporter mention "government" fighter jet. I can't say it wasn't, so I'm not arguing it definitely wasn't. While I do believe it was a military aircraft, is there any way to know which military (country) the aircraft belonged to?

I don't think this is a great mystery. We'd know it if any but government forces had fighter jets and only one government force in Syria has the ability to allow its jets to fly around at leisure looking for targets.

I understand that and don't really disagree with it. However, I'd rather not make decisions (regarding military intervention) based on assumptions. Would that assumption stand up in court, beyond a shadow of doubt? I doubt it [pun intended and acknowledged as lame].

Jeff....... It was dropped from a government fighter jet. Normal tactics have been said to include circling a city and looking for likely targets, the most common of which are crowds of people. Wholly different from "collateral damage" ( I fucking hate that term) when bombing what could be seen as legitimate targets.

I readily admit to being totally out of the loop on world events other than financial and even that I've lost detailed track of. So this may seem like a stupid question but... "Who's govt? Syria's or the US?"
