Good...I hope that Obama decides to do the same...altho from all the rwnj's ive read today, hes fucked whatever he decides to do, if he doestn at least put it to congress, all shit will break loose Canada says they wont be sending troops. The french for sure wont go on their own

FR~ I'm finding the whole scenario quite comical. Whatever the west try to do, Russia and China veto it. When the rebels screamed for help, Russia supplied weapons to Assad via Iran (at least that's what I heard). The UN, the very people that the world turn to for human injustice, seem powerless to do anything at all. Russia and China have vested interests in Syria. I don't think many other countries do. Assad's supporters from Lebanon seem to be declared terrorist organisations as far as the west is concerned. Israel have all but declared war on Iran and outright attacked rebel fighters on its borders. Millions of innocent people have managed to escape and are now refugees outside of Syria. The chemical weapons issue is just another facet that most of the west don't want to get involved with on any real scale. The whole meltdown is just laughable. Syria is self-destructing because Assad won't step down and short of blowing the fucker up, he ain't gonna go. Most of the population don't want him but the west is totally inept at helping. I'm not surprised the the Brits won't support military intervention even if the chemical weapons issue is verified by the UN inspectors. They got badly burned by Blair's dance with W over the Iraq affair, and now Afghanistan. Personally, I'd make sure Assad was in his palace and send a few well-loaded Tomahawks and blow him to smithereens then let the country sort itself out on its own. There's no easy answer to this problem - especially after the Libya fiasco. It's one of those damned-if-you-do and damned-if-you-don't type things.

The scenes shown on TV are far more graphic than those of the Chemical attacks. It`s hard to believe any regime can do this to children. As for the commons vote, some of you have nailed it, its a firm reaction to the lies fed to us by Blair and Bush. Cameron could well be in trouble with his own party, it seems he lost the vote due to so many of his own backbenchers voting against him. Not a good sign for him with an election due next year.

I am mystified that so many here, still can't comprehend that there is a lot of evil in the world. PURE EVIL really does exist, and it can only work through PEOPLE. You see, evil sort of needs a conduit, to work. I have visions of everything falling apart, and people standing around saying, "I don't get it, this is not supposed to happen." We are talking about people that are capable of doing ANYTHING to anyone. Once you understand that, you are no longer mystified. The situation in the Middle East is the tipping point. I certainly am not advocating war, but you don't have to be a psychic to see that what is going on, is going to continue to grow/spread. I can't say it wasn't, so I'm not arguing it definitely wasn't. While I do believe it was a military aircraft, is there any way to know which military (country) the aircraft belonged to?

We'd know it if any but government forces had fighter jets and only one government force in Syria has the ability to allow its jets to fly around at leisure looking for targets.
