I read all the books. I practically screamed when I saw the cast....definitely not the Grey I was picturing in my head....awesome. I feel like the movie is going to suck as much as the books did.

He's really hot in Sons of Anarchy.

Opinions vary. Filthy biker wannabes really don't do anything for me. He's much hotter in Pacific Rim.

I like filthy hot biker wannabes on my TV screen. In my living room, not so much

Charlie Hunam girly! Uh....no. Also while some of the SoA bikers could wash a bit more, Jax is not among them. The show also isn't about "wannabe" bikers. Its an excellent show, well written and very highly rated.

I never read the books, but might see the movies just because of Charlie Hunam. Alexander Skaargard would have been a great pick.

David Spade played opposite Maggie Gyllanhall in "The Secretary," I believe.

1% bikers don't look like SoA.

James Spader was the leading man in Secretary

Cheesy and BDSM as sickness.

Charlie Hunam looks and talks more like Jay (Jason Mewes) than Jay does.

Thank you for pointing this out, it's laughable that people believe what they see on TV. 1%'ers don't look anything like what media portrays them as (unless it's a documentary showing actual footage), regardless of how highly rated a show is or, how well written.

Oh not very charming if you ask me, and I still giggle at the thought of 50 shades being made into a movie. How will they keep it from being x rated?? I mean come on!! If they insist on making an erotic book into a movie can't they at least pick one that's good.

Why pay for it when the original fan fic is free? Plus it's more fun reading it with the Twilight characters than some random people.

Thank you for this. It brings back memories of science fiction/fantasy conventions in the past.

Watch Sons of Anarchy

Yeah, really. He is totally hot, he is a good actor, he can go from sweet to a fucking violent dude in a second and I like the casting. He has a charm about him and as someone else said, I would totally do him!

Apparently, there are those who think that Hollywood is making it up. I, too, knew my fair share of bikers when I was youger. Not some pansy assed guys calling themselves a motorcycle club but groups that would be offshoots of Hell's Angels. Most of them reminded me more of Bobby (Elvis) Munson than Jax Teller sadly, but that doesn't negate the show.

Also, I find it odd that some would question how reality based SoA is all the while comparing the ,legitimacy of various vampire series. There exists in the world motorcycle gangs to compare, there does not exist immortals in this world to compare.

Its all Hollywood folks. Hot,sexy leading men and women get ratings.

I'd be all for a hot and sexy leading man! But I thought they already cast that dirty Brad Pitt looking dude?

They will most likely go the route of The Secretary; a lot of innuendo and alluding, partial nudity, fuzzy images that are supposed to look dreamy or scarey or whatever, etc...
