It depends on your motives for "telling the truth."

For ME, I tell the truth about my situation, about what I am looking for, my expectations from people.
Is that for everyone? Nope.

I don't think it's about being right or wrong. I simply know it's right for ME.

For the record, I am an evil super villain that began his career the minute after he was born. I am directly responsible for every manmade and natural disaster that happened after 15 June 1961, at 0245 mountain time.

I am presently working on a nefarious plan to start a new ice age or take over the world and turn over complete control to Video Admin Alpha so that I have more time to devote to my ultimate goal of taking over the galaxy.

Part of my plan involves in limiting the supply of good whiskey (including premium scotch) and flooding the world market with whiskeys that taste like a mixture of turpentine and horse piss.

That is a terribly interesting and complicated question.

It depends on how far your truth is from center, how you express it, how long you've been here, and perhaps even the phases of the moon.

Unfortunately, yes. She firmly believes that I am a minion of the anti christ, who is also a relative of mine it seems. Unfortunately Aunt Eliza makes right wing conservative religious fanatics look like liberals. She was diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia some years ago. According to family, she was normal (if anyone in my family can be called normal) until her early twenties while she was in college. This was before the LSD craze of the sixties, and her major was religion.
