Jlf, thank you. Your story has renewed my faith in humanity that much more. You are a good person, and I applaud your efforts.

Thank you, but the truth is when it comes to animals, I have a soft spot in my heart. People on the other hand not so much.

She is actually the second wolf hybrid I have brought into my home. The first was my Princess, and I got her as a companion and guard dog. I have had her since she was 9 weeks old.

People say a lot of negative things about wolf hybrids, but the intelligence and loyalty of these animals is much higher than most pure bred dogs. Princess learned my daily routine, including taking meds twice a day for bi polar disorder. If I have not taken my evening meds by quarter till seven, she will go into my room and pick up my seven day medication box and bring it to me, if I am in the house that is. Since

Since my great nephew was born, she also is protective of him. If he cries, she will bark and howl till someone picks him up (we never leave him unattended, so why she raises the alarm is beyond me.) When he was stung by a wasp, she actually came to the table and took my hand and then led me to him, just across the room.

Kera has taken a shine to Damian as well. Today when we had him out in the yard with the dogs, she tried to get him to play with her with a tennis ball.

He was too interested in how fast Nana retrieved his Tonka dump truck from where he pushed it under the porch.

Kera at home. The second pic is the worse looking of two bullet wounds. It is on her foreleg and the vet did pull fragments out of the wound. His opinion is that the round was spent or nearly spent when it hit her.

The third picture is her reaction to being woke up by my niece to get a picture.
