Just to let you guys know, Gabrielle Giffords has complied a list of Veterans who want reasonable gun control laws, I sent her a request to be added to the list.

Now that's just mean. Why would you want to undermine her credibility?

OMG! I just saw on NATGEO that in 1999 43,000 people were injured by toilets while 13 people were injured by sharks. We "HAVE" to ban toilets.

Excuse me. I reread the last post and realize I should explain that they aren't spooning chum into the ocean, they're swimming around In different colored suits trying to draw sharks.

Are you sure that the purpose of this isn't to confirm the rumors concerning the IQs of blond girls.

It is not a skirt, it is a Surcoat worn by those of Medieval times over the chain mail and armor that showed the coat of arms of the Knight. It not mine but close, my coat an alternating pattern of red and black squares with a Black Dragon on the left top front. Also Tunics were worn, very comfortable I may add. So much for what know.

So you accepted a pay check for a job where being able to pull the trigger could have meant the difference between life and death for other people, knowing that when the time came, you wouldn't do the job?

And you actually defrauded the taxpayers and put other lives at risk, not once but twice?

If you say so.

If by 'sociopath', you are referring to the fact that police and military have to overcome the natural reluctance to pull the trigger in a life or death situation, that's true.

Having both military and law enforcement, I never did lose your so called reluctance to shoot. butternutsquash has spoken the truth, it is just that as the saying goes "None so blind as those who will not see." And there are so many here that fit that.

You misinterpret my post, I said I never lost the reluctance to shoot, never said I did not shoot. That bit of reluctance is something that is the difference between a sociopath and a "normal" person.

Nonsense. The discussion was on being able to pull the trigger  on another person, at the moment it is needed. Calling it 'reluctance' doesn't change that.  Waffling around is what costs lives, and you proudly announced that you never bothered to overcome it.
