This is a general reply to the post. Being a gun rights advocate I'll toss in my opinion. You can steal anything I own (this is not an invite), it's insured. What you can't do is threaten the good health and welfare of myself, family, loved ones and friends or innocent people without reprisal. Aside from hunting my firearms give me the option of protecting my right to live putting protection of that welfare in my own hands. It's not perfect but it's something. It is my right not only as a citizen but as a human being. Had armed individuals been present in London with concealed carry weapons the causality count may have been lower. There will never be a utopian society where bad people don't exist no matter how badly we wish for it. Not in my lifetime. So as long as I'm here I'll carry the option to fight back on the street in public and in my home. Unless someone decides to make myself or Innocents around me a victim, you will never know I'm armed. All the discussion from the left fails to mention ultimately someone is still going to have guns or other weapons. Leave them to the government and they'll protect us? Look around do you really want to depend on that trainwreck? They (the left) can be an unarmed victim if they choose but they will not choose for me.

bloody idiot
if the terrorists had easy access to guns in the first place there would have been a higher casualty list. AND more frequent attacks.
Gun death stats dont lie.

This from the moron who thinks resurrecting a thread is some kind of hanging offense.

Is stupidity a fucking vocation for you or is this just something you do when you're not hanging around in bars doing your desperation thing?

Better option than giving up our rights (Theresa May is saying that Internet communication was to blame the last attack) is to make the "refugees" go to other Muslim countries, where they have already slaughtered most infidels, women are already enslaved, and they just slaughter each other now

You keep your way of doing things we'll keep ours. At least here we can shoot back. There were reports of gun fire in the latest attack in London. Now whether that was the police or the terrorists I honestly don't know but someone had access to guns. What I do know is had there been an honest citizen or two with a gun on that bridge who were armed, chances are the death toll of Innocents could have been lower. You keep trusting the police and government to keep you safe. They'll show up and opine the fact they were just too late to stop more carnage. You can remain stoically British, I'll remain ready to defend.

Lucylastic -> RE: ***Unmoderated Gun rights debate - Self Defense to 2nd Amendment *** (6/4/2017 9:08:39 AM)

yeah we all know how low the murder rates and mass shooting arein the US compared to the UK.

if it were your way, the figures would be different.

The US gunts shrugged off the deaths of 26 kids in newtown. Your insistence that guns make you safe obviously is not true.

CaptR -> RE: ***Unmoderated Gun rights debate - Self Defense to 2nd Amendment *** (6/4/2017 9:20:39 AM)

Your toe tag will read "Jane Doe'nt ... Please don't!" Here in the US if I'm not successful mine will read "Ran outta ammunition." 😀

You are right. It's even more important to keep Muslims out of the US, because as a free people we have rights here, and their cult teaches them to use such rights against the inhabitants of whatever land they are invading

CaptR -> RE: ***Unmoderated Gun rights debate - Self Defense to 2nd Amendment *** (6/4/2017 11:50:42 AM)

Typical liberal leftist BS. There now, don't we both feel betta' dear? Bless your heart. 😉 I'm reminded of the Virginia state seal depicting a vanquished ruler under a crown being trod upon. When Prince Charlie visited, someone asked his opinion regarding our flag. In part it reads SIC SEMPER TYRANNIS. He answered considering it's one of his ancestors under foot he was mildly offended or something to that effect. The actual depiction is Roman in nature because the creators wanted nothing to do with a resemblance of the British coat arms. The point being tyrannical/extremist entities will not be tolerated here in the US. (We have our own government thank you. That's quite enough.) Our countries both have only the impression of personal security. Yes our governments work their asses off protecting as best they can. I'm eternally grateful for the efforts and sacrifice of those people who call it their job. However, it's not enough here or there. The option to legally carry personal protection is not a criminal offense nor should it be a luxury for the elite or politicians or only a tool for police to wield. In today's world, it's a necessity. Criminals will always have access (in your country and mine) to deadly weapons. If you choose to defend yourself by begging for your life it's your right. You mentioned our school shootings. Britain is no stranger to those. Even after Dunblane and Hungerford gun control has limited effect on crime in your country. Some news outlets have even cited Britain as the most violent country in Europe (Yes, I know you're not really part of Europe.) I doubt that report is true too but ya got your fair share.
It just makes sense to have the ability to legally protect yourself effectively in a life threatening situation. If someone enters your bedroom with mal intent late one night go ahead, try to beat them to death with words and your Hitachi wand. I and millions of others chose differently. Don't hate us because we're practical and Republican. Hate us because we don't cowtow to tyranny/extremism. Oh, and we're arrogant as fuck too.😉

typical toiletlicking nutsuckers. They can felchgobble, and swing their little dicks like a half-worm after a crappie, but come a terrorist they all run and hide. See FL, see Dallas, et al.

In your make believe world

In the real world, there isn't a county in New York that doesn't list several reported rapes

And a lot of rapes go unreported, too. So...
