Like others were saying here, finding a strap-on is easy, finding one that fits you and that you enjoy is going to be the most challenging aspect of them all. Many years ago when faced with this challenge I was asked to figure out how to overcome the issues and simply just make a strap-on, so I personally turned to leather to make strap-on over the next several years. I loved working with the leather, but it took leather tools, they were not cheap to make and took a lot of skill to make ones that were worthy of my time and the person's money spent on the supplies.
Later a person would ask me "Can you make mine out of nylon backpack webbing?"... I hadn't ever thought about it before, and so I went to a fabric craft store and found some nylon webbing, but the person with me wasn't finding anything beyond the basic black color. They suggested we try another store I commonly go to which is a Hardware store that sells Upholstery items and so much more, and thus we went over there to look for nylon webbing. They had it all, different colors, different types of buckles, and literally everything I could ever think of needing to make a strap-on. Now I am not scare to hand sew or sew on a machine, so at the time I didn't think of ever using this fabric glue they also sell, and it wasn't until later I have it a try and was very happy with it as well. What surprised me was that I can go out buy the supplies I need to make a strap-on (minus the phallus for it) for under $10-$15 and put it together in a single night with a pair of scissors, a Bic lighter to melt the ends of the cut nylon webbing closed, and a measuring tape. With some simply basic stitching with a needle *extra added security for me) and using fabric glue I can whip out a strap-on in a couple 2-3 hours.
As far as the quality goes you can wash it, use it in the shower if you want to, and it remains comfortable and its seriously well built. I have since played around with changing designs, and playing with all kinds of idea's for making strap-on's for various people over the years since I switched to nylon webbing. Its super cheap to work with, super easy to work with, anyone can make it and you don't even need to sew it if you use fabric glue, I just choose to as an added security, the last thing I ever want is it coming apart during that intense moment in play when your partner is almost there and then "Strap-On Failure"! I've made them for BBW's, SSBBW's and even the tiniest of women and nobody ever complained about the price or how comfortable it is. So you may consider making your own, it is quite rewarding to be honest, and then it really opens up the doors to make other things too from butt-plug harnesses on to so much more...
Its just my opinion, I enjoy building custom equipment and making it stronger and better than what you can typically buy, so people are impressed with what I have and want to know "where did you buy that?" and I get to proudly say that I made it myself.
