Thats just like mine Bhruic but I had mine custom made by a leather artist years ago. This little beauty has stood the test of time.
Tips for a good harness is as follow;
Soft leather because its really important it feels good against the skin.
If it has buckles, make sure they don't EVER sit on your skin and have a good padding underneath them.
Leather stretches and so its important you harness has plenty of room for adjustment. You need to wear it tight.
Removable dildo rings because one size ring doesn't fit all dildos.
Two under-straps which are adjustable. These are the thin straps that fit at the back end of the harness (fit under the crouch and up over the buttocks). I've tried other harnesses but without these straps I don't get any stimulation and I'm not fucking anyone if I don't get some stimulation too.
Another thing I would say is, the op mentioned a small strap-on. Keep in mind that depending on your partners weight, a small dildo may only penetrate an inch, if that. You need more length to properly penetrate.
