ORIGINAL: moktaladon edit: People are so tired of fake profiles that they are META-tired of them. So why is nothing done? Wow. Fella, you are you. Yet you claim to speak for many people. How'd that happen? Personally, I can spot a fake and it doesn;t slow me down when I run across one. You are suggesting that your sole report, unsupported by anyone else, should be the criterion for whether profiles are allowed or not. Under the current system, multiple reports are needed to ban a profile. I did not and do not claim to speak for everyone. I never consented to you putting your words in my mouth. So stop it, please. quote:

ORIGINAL: DarkSteven Wow. Fella, you are you. The irony is palpable as you are claiming to speak for me. I am NOT claiming to speak for everyone else. This is an independently verifiable observation with perhaps some hyperbole. quote:
ORIGINAL: DarkSteven You are suggesting that your sole report, unsupported by anyone else, should be the criterion for whether profiles are allowed or not. No I am not suggesting that. Again, stop putting words in my mouth since you don't like it when you think I'm doing it even though I am not. You're being hypocritical. quote:
ORIGINAL: DarkSteven Under the current system, multiple reports are needed to ban a profile. Good, that's smart. Since so many of you seem to be taking the "attractive" part personally, it has nothing to do with you. Sex sells, and pretty girls sell sex best, so spammers use pictures of women that generally fall into the category of broadly attractive. It's not personal, it's greed backed yet successful marketing based on tried and true practices. It's worked for millennia and it will continue to work in the future.
