They are looking sillier by the moment.

I get the point. The government workers should be on the job if they will ultimately get paid. I'm just trying to figure out how it's the "cons" fault. Obama is the one who has the discretion to spend what money there is and put to it's best use. So he spends it on putting up fences and "Barrycades" trying to cause misery to as many people as he can. Yes, I get it.

No, it is due diligence, of what money there is to spend, there is debt service and there is social security checks and veterans check and governement retirees checks and disability checks and promises to states in block grants and active military.

How long are we going to be shutdown, get rid of the extraneous stuff now. And don't get a bunch of lawsuits against the government in the process.

We are up against the debt ceiling AND the funding at the same time. We could be without actual government stuff for quite some time.
