You know, I've been thinking about this, and I think you're pretty much right, though I don't think it'll be just major donors.

The shutdown is hurting a lot of businesses. A failure to raise the debt ceiling would trigger a recession at least as bad the one we're still getting out of. I think a lot of corporations and business lobbies, not just big individual donors, are going to start pushing hard for this to get resolved over the next week.

How do you feel about 501c4s, like many Tea Party-type organizations, who are not required to disclose their donors? They do a lot of lobbying for conservative politicians, and could be secretly funded by China or Russia for all you or I know.

When will you tire of simply repeating dumbass lies? No credit card clearing house will accept an online transaction without that code.

Sorry. This is absolutely the truth. I had the occasion to make a donation to obama's first political campaign. I donated $1 from Great Britain, using a debit card.

I identified myself as a resident of great britain. And the money was never returned to me. Nor credited back to my account.
