To someone in the south, Yankee is anyone born above the Mason-Dixon line.
To those in the north, Yankee is anyone from New England.
To a New Englander, Yankee is anyone from Vermont.

To someone from Vermont, Yankee is either someone from the Northeast Kingdom or anyone who eats apple pie with cheese for breakfast.

Just shows how fucked up the US is compared to the rest of the world. lol.

Don't knock it if you haven't tried it. Apple pie for breakfast is awesome.

I love apple pie any time of the day.

As long as the apple isn't a complete mush and seasoned with cinamon or clove and not just mega-sweet.

Are you saying it must; or must not be, seasoned with cinnamon and clove?

Damn clumsy elocution for a Mad Dog or an Englishman. And euphonically damaging as well.

It's perfectly good English.

Let me express it mathematically for you seeing as you can't to work out the and/or reasoning....
~([complete mush]) .AND. [seasoned with](cinamon .OR. clove) .AND. ~([mega-sweet])

Is that any clearer for you??

so failing one of those clauses (mathematically) it means it is good to go, it could be cloyingly sweet and a complete mush, so long as it is not seasoned as described, and you are gonna lick it up like nobodies business.

Here in Massachusetts, a Yankee is a member of the inferior baseball team that did not make the playoffs :P

Great: I've now got a mental image of Judge Dredd talking in a Tyneside accent.
