Well, I do try to keep an open mind about religion, even though I consider myself agnostic. I don't think that asking Jesus would yield any clear, concise, or definitive answers.

I suppose we all have doubts, fears, sadness, and confusion from time to time in our lives. It's just part of being human. If scripture is anything to go by, it is written that man was born to suffer.

The way I see it, if Jesus wants to come down to Earth and take over all the governments of the world, I would not oppose Him. Until that day, however, I see the job of "Lord and Master" as currently being vacant. No one can rule in abstentia for very long.

God never left. He never had to leave and if he left how could he be there for you?

I think he never left and he and your brothers and sisters will guide you even if you don't ask because they love you. Not much guidance is needed since we all were born with the knowledge of good and bad. But, we will make mistakes and bad choices and it would be good if we learned something out of this experience and so he will let us grow up and learn by making mistakes while never ever letting you be really hurt badly, after all, don't you let your kids make mistakes but save them from being really hurt? I think that in this context death is not being hurt either because we all must die and who would subject their children to something horrible if he could avoid it and, after all, he is God so he could avoid it. Plus, you must know already that death seems bad especially in the Western World but you also know that those who have died and were resuscitated never ever fear death again knowing death is really a rebirth and the pain and joy of this world and this life was just an opportunity for you.

So, God does not need to return, he is here, he will guide you even if you do not ask just as your children don't have to ask, and will do nothing horrible to you no matter what you do here just as you would treat your children.

It is certainly a Bible. A collection of different books offering ancient history, wise teachings and a morality, none seeking to prove anything since presumably God does not need to prove anything to us, and I believe that is so, but instead is meant to expand on what each man and woman already know from birth, the knowledge of right and wrong. It is one of many each offered by different religions as a moral code for living. I've read it and I especially recommend the "Book of Proverbs" for a source of wisdom. Wisdom and morality can indeed be found in the Bible.
