Relationships change, whether they are M/s or vanilla. I moved out when I felt that Bo and mine relationship had grown to something different. I let him have Lizard when it was discovered that I had Bipolar and I felt I needed to donate more time to treating myself (at times I was homeless and suicidal) until the doctors finally find the right cocktail for me. I live over 300 miles away from them but then I am not dealing with 2 other dominating personalities. At times, I have to referee the two until they realize I mean business as well.

If the Master is not fulfilling your needs, it is time to move on. Resist the emotional blackmail. He is not doing you any good.

From your own words it seems as if you are ready to outgrow your own Master, but not your slave tendencies. And with good reason; you are not content with your situation anymore, your Master is refusing to take his responsibility for that and basically whimps out by telling you to deal with it on your own time.
