No, given the 3 links you provided for feedback, 2 were horrendous. This one wasn't a complete turn-off. You were planning to use it temporarily until you could find something better or more appropriate. (However, I do agree from my Asian background that the female depicted is NOT underage, but I can see how non-Asians might not be able to tell from her youthful appearance.)

People who use photos like that can be dangerous -- they are either unaware of interpersonal boundaries, or they don't give a shit about them. There's decent odds that the OP is high-functioning autistic, or Asperger's; he's capable of intelligent conversation, while misunderstanding fundamental elements of dating and human interaction.

Incidentally, anyone who "always uses TOR" and has had the same IP address for 10 years, is completely made at this point. It's possible to track someone with control of only a handful of TOR exit nodes, and the NSA controls far, far more.

Personally, I think it's wrong if the admins are feeding regular users YOUR IP address (since that can be geolocated and cross correlated to get down to your address in some circumstances) - but - it's even more disconcerting that the admins are snooping around - if that's what they're doing - simply because you called out someone for admitting that.

All I'd like to know is whether the admins visit your profile. That's all. Maybe they do it to everyone (like DS does, for example, simply because they're curious) or like the police bait ones do (you know, the 18 year old girls who just wanna have fun where their profile says only that they're just milk and tea and the like).

Do multiple admins visit your profile?

I didn't see your introduction thread but I'm willing to bet that nobody suggested that you post a picture that was not of yourself or that you didn't have the ownership rights. If they did, they were incorrect because the site clearly says that you are to only post pictures of yourself or those you have taken yourself.

And yes, if the woman in your pic hasn't given you permission to post it, then it makes you seem to be an asshole who wouldn't respect a partner's request for privacy either.

Having another person's face pic when you aren't a couple, always makes people think badly of you. Like everyone else, I strongly suggest you change it if you want to meet anyone from here.

According to Edward Snowden, the NSA hasn't actually cracked TOR encryption itself, but, it's common knowledge, as you noted, that they do packet analysis at the entrance and exit nodes, and, besides, they already siphon off the entire traffic overseas (which TOR traffic often traverses). Plus, you may note that the TOR website has been reporting that MILLIONS of new nodes have been added since August 20th, so, "something" odd is going on that they're not aware of.

In addition, as you seem to be aware, the real weakness isn't TOR (it's actually pretty strong), but, the endpoints are "incredibly weak", in the words of Edward Snowden. Incredibly weak means that if a state-sponsored agency wants in on your computer, router, or cellphone, they're in. Period. Nothing you could ever do would stop them. Nobody can. I think you know this - and certainly I do - but - luckily for me - AFAIK - no state-sponsored agency is actually after me (yet!). :)

Um, no. The encryption algorithm is secure, to the best of our knowledge, but there's a lot more to TOR than the encryption algorithm. The Aurora browser is insecure, and has been successfully attacked, including quite recently. For example:

I don't use TOR, though I won't discuss exactly what I do. I will say, though, that I surf with iframes disabled. So I'm immune to that particular injection attack.

In all fairness, I don't think you have Asperger's. You're a very left-brained tech geek. Over-analytical. When a Mistress tells you to do something, you'll overthink it. That's assuming you've gotten your foot in the door. Are there any artistic or creative expressions you can pursue as a hobby? Painting, drawing, graphics design, listening to music, dust off an old guitar, wood-carving, tinkering with some craft, anything? It will help rewire your brain so that its right hemisphere doesn't stay dormant. Watch some entertaining movies, go to a comedy club, lighten up, be good company. Most Dommes like to be amused and will tire of having to explain things to you constantly to your satisfaction.

Tor is as good as we can expect for a wholly free system. There are free VPNs out there, e.g., https://www.tunnelbear.com/, and, of course, there are payware VPNs which will be much faster. Of course, the VPN knows who you are, so, all they'd need to do is attack that VPN.

Best to just pick up a Ubiquiti Rocketdish and then beam it a mile or five down the road, and glom onto someone's WEP-encrypted WiFi instead! :)

You were contacted by someone who was banned from CM and therefore goes around claiming he was a former mod.

I doubt there was any verifiable proof that he was.

Probably so. It is pretty bad. At least 80% or 90% of the profiles, by my technical tests, of hits of people within 25 miles of me have turned out to have profile photos that are clearly not of the profile owner. This is technically easy to verify, beyond any reasonable doubt. I think that's what Madman was trying to tell me, and, which I have personally verified to be the case.

The good thing about his web site is that the evidence for fake profile photos was incontrovertible in 99 out of 100 of his posts, so, anyone who had a single scientific neuron in his brain would agree on sight, and simply click the block button and hide buttons, which Madman made convenient. It was nice that I could go to this non-collarme-site and click on the profile photos and it would hide and report people on the collarme site (as long as I was also logged into collarme at the same time). This is efficfient, and it knocked hundreds of profiles off my list so that I didn't have to waste any time with them.

Note: I'm not talking about "fake profiles" ... I'm talking about profile photos that show up as models on the various reverse search engines on the web but which the profile tries to make look like is of them.

It's germane to note that I knew enough to modify my previous profile photo, which I clearly admitted was pulled off the web, so that it would never be found by a reverse image search engine (they use FFT algorithms so it's easy to muck with them so that their own automated search engines don't find their own photos!), but, most others don't seem to do that. Plus, in my defense, my profile photo clearly wasn't trying to intimate it was portraying me, since I'm a guy and the only male in my picture was the dog.

Point is, I know a faked profile photo when I see it (because it clearly turns out to be of some model on the web) but who knows how many of the ones that don't show up are cleverly changed enough to that the FFT algorithm misses them.

But, what do you expect in a free site anyway? Perfection? You should see Craigslist. The personal ads are 990:10 men looking for sex, and of the 10 women, 9 of them are men posing as women. Same as in the real world.

It is what it is, and always was, before I was born, and will be that way long afterward. Nothing changes in history other than the details. Human nature never changes.

I don't know that he was "banned". Do you know that for a fact? He didn't say that to me. He just helped point me in the right direction on a technical forum where I was asking how to identify photos as being faked. He probably didn't even know I was asking about Collarme (although I was also asking about fetlife, craigslist, alt., etc.). It was only in the conversation that collarme came up. I never actually met the guy, but EVERYTHING he told me about the FFT algorithm turned out to be true, so, he was technically astute.

If he was banned, I know not that, nor why. Nor why it would matter, since our efforts were purely technical in nature.
