This is open to debate and usually starts one when I bring it up, but there is something to the generalization of those in identifiable job roles seeking the opposite in their BDSM life. I debated this once with a Dr. Spankenstein in an AOL chatroom…haha…well, that is the name he uses. He has some published things on the web. Maybe some of you know him. By the end of the debate, I had to admit, he was onto something. What was interesting is that he used psychological tests and so on that told him 90% of submissives were in classical management type jobs while Dominants did not hold traditional management positions. The thing with Dominants, and I truly think it applies on this thread, is that most are intelligent, but in technical jobs where they don’t actually boss people. In my case, I am in a very scientific type position where my interaction is with a few underlings, but more with equals in other disciplines which requires being able to get along to move the main project. Believe what you want, but, if you really think about some of the “management” or “submissive” positions mentioned in the thread, you will see what I mean.
