Because I've been here before, and it didn't end well. Granted it was 3 years ago (at the tender age of 18), and I had such horrible self esteem that back then any attention seemed like good attention. Until a few months later I caught on, and deleted everything I had on this site...so yeah.

Now I'm back a bit wiser, but still just 21. I have knowledge of BDSM, but I have no hands on experience. The latter due to my hesitance to be in a relationship of any caliber, and the fact that I've never met someone that made me want to be in a relationship with them. -shrugs- That's just never happened for me.

Any way, I'm going to need all and any tips anyone can give to me, because I want to try to get this whole "safety in BDSM" right. And despite all the book knowledge I've carried through the years, I'm still socially awkward and more-than-less naive about life.

So, do you have any tips about CollarMe? The do's and don'ts possibly?

And more importantly, is there any tips you would give to someone like me (or me) when it comes to BDSM?

All good-hearted tips are appreciated!

...P.S. I've never even met a decent BDSM'er online or offline. Well one, but he's my friend now and nothing more. I'm just wondering if anyone would be willing to tell me how they met their S.O. Was it online or offline? Is there a treasure chest somewhere that I can open and find a Dom? Because that'd be great.

You sound like someone hoping to find a match online and are grousing about how crappy the online world is for meeting Doms. Sorry, but the online world attracts a lot of men who aren't capable of tying their own shoelaces, who think that when they stamp the word Dom on their forehead, they'll score the hawt chicks. I'd strongly recommend you attend a few munches. Yeah, I know, you don't know anyone and don't wanna go alone. Call the munch organizer ahead of time and introduce yourself. Ask if there are people you could talk to and get to know beforehand.

Hi El,

My tips are that Delete is your best friend during the first month while you are "fresh meat" and don't believe anyone who wants you to get on cam to "prove you are female."

Your profile leads with what you don't want. I understand why that's tempting, but suggest you focus on what you do want.

Hello!

I met my (current) significant other in a vanilla setting and we have become kinky over time, together. I had a few tops before that, most of whom I met on a vanilla dating site, and a couple of them I was just friends with and it ended up being friends with benefits.
