ORIGINAL: mnottertail Hey, figure this out you innumerate hysterical teabaggers . . . how many people are they hiring? how long are they going to work? 8 x 5 x ? or 24 X 365? lets go with 8 hours by 5 days and give it 300 days a year. 380000 (and that includes supervision and support) would be 158 people nationwide..........hmmmmmmmm, that is upwards to 3 people per state. Jesus, these motherfuckers are throwing down on us!!!!!!!! EE-YUL, EE-YUL, EE-YUL!!!! EPIC nutsacker fail. According to what was posted the contract is worth between 75 and 80 million dollars. You say there will be about 158 people nationwide. Divide 80 million by 158. Damm, those guards will be making some damm nice money! According to what was posted, it's 205 guards. Presumably plus support/admin personnel, equipment, liability insurance, transportation, etc. For who knows how long the contract is. Let's say, hypothetically, it's a two-year contract, and half of the cost is wages for the guards. That means each guard is making, let's see, $75m/2 years/205 * 1/2 wages = $91,500. That's a pretty good wage, but within the range of what a police officer might make.
