Thanks for sharing - my Mom's neighbor makes soap which is really divine and I assumed much harder than this.

IMPORTANT NOTE

Ok, who else was thinking of Fight Club when they read about the dangers of lye? [8D]

I'm thinking The Pope of Greenwich Village.

I was so HAPPY when I saw Fight Club!! Mostly because they made soap. Now that is twisted.

Aaand.
Btw. PLEASE be careful of the lye.

It burns like a bitch.

Those are just a few ideas for holiday/gift soaps. Some of the intricate stuff is not possible without using melt-n-pour, but there is nothing better than a lovely swirly hot-process soap like Blonderfluff makes. She is the REAL soaper here!

MD
I make both kinds. Melt and pour for the "pretty" factor.
The "scratch" kind for my skin.
My pics won't load. Dang.

Yay. Another soaper!!

How funny! I read the thread title as "soup" not "soap", so the first few lines of ingredients confused the heck out of me!

I had a natural bath company for awhile. I did strictly cold process. It just became too much to work full time and do the farmer's markets too.

if you got like the wrong kind, you can bring them up in paint and save them as jpg to upload them here.  then you gotta hit post reply, and check the embed picture in post and then click the upload button, and grab the jpg (jpeg) you want.  I dont think it takes bifs and the like.

I did so,e of the bigger shows in DC.
Also had a great website. One of my soaps actually made it into Country Living one Christmas addition. Lol. I made a buttload of money in 6 weeks. I think that's what burned me out on doing it for money.

Now it's just because I like to smell good.
